MONDAY MAKES AND PLANS - Revisiting the Patina Blouse and another big four pattern 

Does the Coraline have lining? Unlined swimwear is not very flattering, in my opinion. Also, I think I have read that with the scoop back, the straps keep sliding off the shoulders; that might be a consideration as you say you have narrow shoulders.

That red top is pretty. I know about being tight in the booby area! I am either too tight or too loose. I never seem to get it right on the first try.

I love that Simplicity jacket, Christine! My lovely friend next door would say, "A man on a galloping horse won't see...(The facing cut on the cross grain of course!) Is it only we Lancashire lasses that say hum and hah? Everyone else seems to drop their aitches and say um and ah! Of course the very posh people say hem and haw 😂😂😂

That Patina house is beautiful. If the gold flecks itch around the neck, you can tweezer them out where needed.

Hi Christine,I can always rely on you to bring a ray of sunshine on a very wet and windy day in Lancashire. I do like your gorgeous jacket it looks so inviting and snuggly.I love your swimwear fabric, it is so beautiful. French Seams has made the Coralie so she may have some tips for you and Liz the Baker who Sews has sewn up a few different suits so it might be worth reaching out to her for advice before taking the plunge🤣. I was resisting the Pogonip but because of you I have given in and ordered the pattern.l can’t decide whether or not I like the wide placket but I do like it on you.I think that a trip to the range as I need a solution to my pattern storage problem. I was horrified to discover how many patterns I have duplicated,expensive Indi patterns in the main . I was searching in vain for my Frida blouse,I have the pattern but where has it gone?😂Have a great week Christine and let us hope that the snow is not a problem at the end of the week. 🌹🌹🌹

Love the jacket and the length is perfect on you. Great that you got it out of 1.5 metres and demonstrated that sometimes things can be cut off grain. Patina is absolutely fabulous. I made the Style Arc Kennie which I love but I struggled with the neck construction. The Patina looks better from that point of view. Great plans as always. 😊 Lynne

Hi Christine, how about one of the fastenings that are used for fur coats (the large hook & eye design) for your simplicity jacket? It’s a fabulous jacket ❤️ it would just bring it together and keep your hands free! btw I’ve completed my first Pogonip and can’t wait to share with you.
