I just went to Bulgaria back in July. The two biggest cities, Sofia and Plovdiv are super vibrant, almost westernised cities. Plovdiv is especially fascinating. It’s a Turkish city built on top of Roman ruins. But let me tell ya, out in the country, it’s a whole different story. Unless you’re in a ski resort, their hospitality is almost comically bad. Every day I was thinking “Jesus, it’s almost as though they don’t want my money.” Beautiful country though. I’d recommend it.

The best games and sports are the ones where officials are the least involved. The big three in America are just far too easy to manipulate, even in minor ways. Auto racing is one of the most difficult to manipulate because of all the moving parts and the fact that at any moment, a tire could let go, a part could fail, a lot stop could go wrong, a car could lose traction, a driver could miss his mark by inches, etc, etc. There's nothing officials can do about those events. Am I saying there's not anything they can use to manipulate certain things? No. What I'm saying is that because it's a sport prone to natural circumstances more than the others, it's more difficult to manipulate as it's happening.
