Big fan of your channel lads. Congrats on putting out some cracking content, the best fitting channel by far. Spent the last few weeks catching up on it. Have a question relating to a previous video i.e. Simon's shaft choice for driver, VA Synystr. Q. Simon mentions he is weight sensitive...yet from my understanding both are 65/64. What was it about Synystr that made it easier to swing e.g torque/balance. Any insight would be great. Keep up the great content. Thanks!!

The X flex in the Synystr is 66g and for me once I tip over 65g the club drops behind be making me have to force it. I am a bit peculiar in how sensitive I am to this but once the club drops behind me from a total weight point of view I flip it left so am very keen to avoid this and changing balance point will not help as it I lit makes it easier to deliver the bottom end and not the entire shaft

@@Precision_Golf Thanks for the quick reply Simon. I messed up my question, was referring to the weight of Ventus Black v Synystr and why Synystr won out..seeing as they both are v similar in weight?

Simon, I would like to hear your opinion on one of my (many) issues in my game. I have a big gap between my 7i (longest iron I have, because 6i did not fly any further), 28.5 deg mizuno hot metal and 26 deg mizuno flyhi hybrid. Total distance in metres is 123 and 147 respectively. Any suggestions? There is the same shaft in both, iron length also in the hybrid. (As you can imagine, with the distance I have, I carry only 11 clubs.)

Without seeing the data I can only presume the ball speed generated off the FliHi is much stronger with higher Smash factor due to the head construction suiting you more and potentially a higher launch relative to spin also giving more efficient flight. The combination of the two would make a significant distance difference. Also if the deeper CG of the Fli Hi allows you to get strike in a better place (normally due to a shallower angle of attack) then the consistency of result will also be better

@@Precision_Golf Thank you for the answer! I cannot give you any numbers regarding my swing as I have not found any reliable launch monitor in my area. We are still a third world, at least in terms of golf. (We only successfully imported Rory Sabattini to win an olympic medal.) And, yes, I would say you are right about the shallow swing, taking into account my divots.
