I would suggest putting Kevlar drum heads on the snares and definitely tune the tenors higher because they sound like Tom Tom’s and as marching band member they need to be tuned higher, use a high torque drum key and make sure there are no timing tears with the drum line because the horn line and front ensemble if there is one (I couldn’t see) are going to listen to the drum line for tempo (at least they should be)
in my band the horn line and drumline watch the drumline but the front ensemble watches the center marimba but all sections listen to the drumline for tempo@@ghostwoomy
@@ghostwoomy okay i worded that wrong, the DRUMLINE AND THE HORNLINE watch the drum MAJOR but the front ensemble watches the center marimba for tempo but all the lines listen to the drumline for tempo because since the drumline is usually in the back, if they play with what they hear from the drumline then they'll sound exactly in time because if they didn't listen back to the drumline then they technically would be in time but because of sound delay that would sound way out of time.
