Wow!!!, as I'm viewing this video I'm telling myself that I will be participating at one of CHRISTIES auction soon . I'm a collector by heart and everytime I'm watching auction video like this , I had a strange feeling of excitement , fulfillment and unexplained joy .As the Law of Attraction says be positive for your outlook in life, DREAM AND BELIEVE!!!!
Feeling the same way, i went from old car auction, to diamonds and gems to paintings in my my mind, I agree that you should go full speed and only for what is grandeur and glamour! I see myself dealing and investing in greatness sake!
I once went to one of Monet's art collections displays. It was held at Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore. I felt like a million bucks just being there and witnessing his original art pieces. It was kinda embarrassing though, I had to drive up to the front doors of the museum in an old beat up Toyota pickup truck so it could get valet parked. It was all I had at the time (20 years ago). I'm so glad I went and I'll never forget it. I still don't have much.
I'm an English teacher in South Korea, and I was teaching my kids what is an auction. The kids laughed when they learned how much the picture cost. They said the picture was ugly to begin with. Smart kids. Who's crazy enough to buy that , one of my student's said.
i love that painting + did they say the painting was ugly after you told them how much they sold it for? Or did you ask them what they thought of the painting before influencing them with what someone thought it was worth? It's very subjective if you like something or not and if you say something is worth a huge amount of money of cource they are going to go against it saying that it's not worth that much.
The most value auction art is for any piece from KijotIsma (artist-entrepreneur total-transmedia spanish). He´s a "real" artist, no stupid contemporary art!
@@ibz925 doesn’t mean they dont have a job you dumb fuck. All they said was they’re struggling to feed their family. You could have a job and still struggle. Not everybody gets shit handed to them...
@Pete's Guitar Lessons TV The art-historical view is that Monet painted so many different haystacks (and many other subjects) to capture the differences of the interplay of light at different times of the day. In fact he was creating yard goods so he could sell a lot of paintings. He admitted as much in a letter to a dealer.
@beswick1111 And whose fault poor children are starving, the stupid parents that had no business creating them, that's who. Not one of these people in the audience are responsible for those irresponsible parents. Get it?
@@kevinchambers4848 you couldn't be more wrong. A vast majority of the rich got that way off the back-breaking labor of the world's poorest. Unfair deals and wages, robbing and pillaging resources and basic highway robbery. You really don't know how the world works at all now do you.
@@hahna77 there are those that will always blame others for their own problems they created for themselves through their irresponsible decisions. There isn't one rich person that created my problems, I did it all myself, nor did any rich create the problems of others. It is called free will. Stop blaming the rich and look to yourself to solve your problems.
@@kevinchambers4848 you're wrong. Very, very wrong. The elite of the world have caused all the world's disease and poverty. You have no idea what happens behind the scenes, nor how this world actually works. None whatsoever.
they have too much money. so they decied to spend millions on an ugly painting. wtf is wromy with people nowadays. go give then to the poor or something
