Here's a tip of what you need to do:- Approaching the target island: 1) Set a waypoint on the viewpoint on the target island. 2) Stop at around 230-300 meters away from the viewpoint. Because there is no way you can get there with your ship in one piece. The 60 lvl Man o' War will sink you in no time. 3) As soon as you enter the yellow circle in restricted area while swimming be ready to dive because the ships will shoot at you. Resurface after each shot from ship and immediately dive so that oxygen dont run out. 4) When you reach the ground synchronise the viewpoint first. 5) Complete the warehouse there then. Doing the trick: 1) Fast travel to viewpoint so that your ship is docked. 2) Jump and Swim to the Man o' War from your ship. Be ready to dive also. 3) Climb the ship and eliminate every body. 4) After that get back to your ship and take the wheel when you are ready. 5) Fire at the ship without aiming. (Shoot with heavy shots or fire shot or whatever that is called) it will be oneshot because you killed the crew which dropped the health of man o war to almost 10%. 6) Board it quickly before other ship attack. You dont have to move the ship the option to board will come after you have fired at ship itself. 7) Cut the flag on the top of the ship. Now starts the tricky part. As soon as you cut the flag you will have the option of what to do with the ship. Select "Lower wanted level". Select this option only otherwise than Man o' War will disappear on the next attempt. Now after that immediately leave the wheel of your ship because it will spawn you in your ship with you on the wheel. Leave the wheel immediately as soon as you see Edward on the wheel. Do this as quick as possible. Then fast travel quickly to the viewpoint. Hurrah! Man o war has respawned. Repeat the steps.(only the trick one not the approaching one) Some more tips: Dont upgrade the part of your ship that triggers the upgrading ship cutscence as it will make the man o war disappear. Dont shoot other ship except the man o war. I made around 100,000 R doing this. Edit 2022: You can do this after sequence 4-5 but reaching there it difficult as the south part of map is restricted area control of fort. This trick still work on pc v1.07 jackdaw edition 100%.
Can confirm, theyve fixed this as of Sep 2021. Now you can only steal the Man O War once through this trick. Once you pull it off, it doesnt spawn in that location anymore even if you go there after many days.
@@Kadzkurd no that happens occasionally, just time your stealth swims correctly in order to avoid the gunfire from the scout, and spam a from multiple angles and you should be able to get up just fine
Your not weird for still playing this game black flag is one of the best assassins creed games the newest ones suck with enemy levels and assassination from hidden should always oneshot

If you want a lot of money just attack the legendary ship that has 2 man of wars,sink one then get the money and then die you keep the money and can do the battle again
@@sakshamsrivastava4710 also the unnecessary mission point doesnt count since tailing and eavesdropping missions in ac4 ruins the game a bit and yes I agree unity didnt have a good story but it still did show major improvements to ac
that isn't a glitch, it's a feature. the less people in the boat, the less resistance it has. so if there's nobody in the boat, it dies one shot anyway, pretty sick trick
How do you get there? Just by playing the game til you get that island secure? I’ve already been there but the ships are blockading the island so I can’t step foot on it.
Not sure if you put this in the video but just so people know do not destroy any other ships after you board the man o war or it will ruin the exploit and you have to start a new game at lest that heppen to me I did it a couple times when I was done I destroyed the other ships on my way out come back later no man o war ever again
I finished this story mode 3 time on ps3 ...i finished AC origins all Dlc and AC Odessey All dlc.. but still didnt enjoy them as this one . Thats why i just bought it on ps4.

I had to go to an area around the island where there weren't and ships, and I had to get off the the Jackdaw and swim all the way to the ship infested area

Does this still work? And if not are there any that still do? I tried two that worked recently, involving going back to memories and replaying them at the last Checkpoint but it worked one time and now when I finish the memory it doesn't add the money to my bank
you'd have to climb onto the ship yourself and kill all of the crew members, and then get on your ship and you should be able to one shoot that other ship
