It is always good to have a financial plan. I work with a professional planner and fixed-income strategist in NY. The fixed income portion of your portfolio won't simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio, but will provide legitimate income.

Very true, people downplay planners role, until burnt by their mistakes. I remember just after my layoff early 2020 amidst covid outbreak, I needed to stay afloat, hence researched for license-fiduciary advsors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge, and decades of experience, I Liquidated 200k of 325k from my 401(k) it has yielded nearly 1 m after subsequent investments so far

I've shuffled through a few experts in the past, but settled with LUCY ROSE CARTER. The strategy they use is recession-proof, more specifically profit-oriented, and most likely, you'd find her basic info on the net, she's a renowned advisor.

Generally, credit cards are a safer option than debit cards because they provide better protection against fraud. If your debit card or card information falls into the wrong hands, a criminal has direct access to all of the money in your checking account. You just have to be disciplined with your money.

Yea, it's not so much money itself that is the problem but rather system and a number of it's incentives, but since you need a good replacement for said system already in mind (or potential one) and it takes a good portion of society to actually change over to it, most have to simply find a way to adapt to survive and thrive.

Totally agree with the credit card approach. You have to think about many the people Dave Ramsey is speaking to - individuals that are uneducated regarding the way money works and lack discipline in spending. I agree with his ultra-conservative approach because a huge bulk of people fall into this category. However, if you know what you're doing, credit cards are the way to go.

Jaspreet! Maybe The fact that student loans were on hold was slowing. Housing market. In fact, many people whose student loans were in Deferment we're required to calculate a monthly payment that is equal to 0.5% of their entire student loan. For many of us who have hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans, this payment would be way too high and would dysqualify us from being preapproved for a mortgage, not to mention the real calculated payments are way lower than that on the new SAVE program. I'm planning to apply for a mortgage immediately upon the status change of my Student loans when they go from deferment to repayment status in a few days on september first. Perhaps you can Do a video on this? I'm sure there's some kind of intersection impact. Love your content. I've learned so much, looking forward to more.

When you have babies you end up spending a decent amount of money as well. You have to invest in your child. So credit cards are great for that purpose too. Many family vacations paid for via perks.

You can purchase the mattress u slept on in the hotel u like if u ask your friend who works in the hotel to purchase a brand new mattress for u with employee discount. 🤫The mattress I have been sleeping on is the best one I have ever had and they can for a really long time.👍🤭

If you need to know the interest rate on a credit card, you shouldn't have that card.

@@Joce123 Why? You should never accumulate any interest so it's a non-variable. I know vaguely what my interest rates are, but I got my card for my rewards because that's what's important. If I ever pay interest then I've fucked up.
