Hi Steve. Thank you for watching. I must have forgotten to hit the the reply button when I repiled a short while ago. Anyway the Bundeswehr version has a 'catch' for the strap that goes around the set but the East German one does not. All of the version are slightly different but seem to be more or less the same size. Thanks for the compliment. Stays safe. ATB. Nigel
