I wouldn't trade a 26 year old Isaac Bruce. And I certainly wouldn't trade a 26 year old WR who is better than Isaac Bruce was.

Purdy hits all receivers in tight windows, if they trade Aiyuk they’ll be just fine with so many weapons, a better o-line is way more important, put the money there and trade Aiyuk and collect your Super Bowl titles.

I agree with you. But then why isn’t that true about Aiyuk who only had that really good season last year. Shouldn’t he use this 5th year option to show he can do it again, then for 2025 he can get the high money he wants? I’m not sure why no one is talking about this.

He will if healthy , he’ll be even better with a better i-line.m. Which they are sure to reinforce.

And then we can stop listening to the Monday morning QB schmucks tell us how average he is.

Deebo scares and puts pressure on opposing teams, causing them to practice and train in that upcoming game week differently but equally to how BA scares and puts pressure on opposing teams. I think just that difference is significant. Many teams that have two really good receivers also force teams to focus their training efforts - but most of those 2-star-WR teams make opposing teams train fairly similarly for those two receivers. In other words there's more overlap in preparing for those two receivers than how they have to train and prepare for Deebo and BA. Deebo and BA are such huge threats but in different ways. It's just a different dynamic than facing any other two WR's. Plus Deebo is more than just an unusual WR to prepare against. He also is a KEY team motivator for the 49ers. More than most others, he seems to really energize and ignite the rest of the team both in the locker room and on the field. I don't think the 49ers need to move Deebo to free up money for BA. 1) I think there are ways to spread out a big contract for BA that will allow them to keep both star WR's. 2) If the 49ers need more cap headroom for a big BA contract then I think other players would be traded before Deebo.

GM Lynch has already stated that Deebo isn't going to be dealt ,and the Niners have ways to be able to pay Aiyuk and keep their cap hit low and still be able to pay Purdy before the 25 season begins

thing with deebo is that he works with shanny's scheme. shanny loves the options that deebo brings since he and CMC are practically interchangeable and allows him to be sneaky in his plans.

I understand Deebos talent and how he can play decoy. I am thinking long term if someone is dealt I don’t want it to be Brandon. Purdy and aiyuk just sounds like a legacy duo.

Even a 1st round pick would not be enough for me. Most 1st round picks fail or aren't starters their first year. If you want immediate impact to replace an impact player on a SB-bound team, a 1st round pick would be risky at best. What would it take for me? The least I'd consider for BA is a 1st round pick + a 2nd round pick + a decent depth player trade, assuming that depth player was a position where we needed a depth player.

What is he lacking that your other top 5 WR's have? And I'm curious who your top 5 WR's are that are better. He has superior separation. He has superior YAC. He has superior strength and fight for the ball/superior hands. He has superior catch radius. He has superior blocking. He has superior chemistry with his QB. He has superior availability/lack of injuries. He has superior attitude/team leadership/work ethic. Sorry if I sound like a fanboy. I just report what I've seen. I don't think I can name 5 that are better.

I did some quick research on these 6, just for fun. I looked at 2023 Rec% (Rec/Tgt), Yds, Yds/Rec (efficiency), TD’s, First Downs. I also looked at 2 PFF X-Y charts of WR’s: Separation vs. YAC and Success Rate When Targeted vs. Average YAC Over Expectation (OE stats are always advanced metrics, weighted against league average under challenging play circumstances) and I’ve ranked all of these below in order of 2023 season performance. Rec%: BA, Hill, Chase, JJ, AJ, Adams (BA #1) Yds (all 1,000+): Hill, (big gap), AJ, BA, Chase, Adams, JJ (BA #3) Efficiency: BA, (big gap), Hill then JJ (almost tied), AJ, Chase, Adams (BA big #1 since he had fewest targets) TD’s: Hill, (big gap), Adams, BA/Chase/AJ (tied), JJ (BA #3T) FD’s: Hill, (big gap), AJ, Chase, BA, Adams, JJ (BA #4) Separation: Hill, BA, (gap), AJ, JJ, Chase, Adams (BA #2) YAC: BA, (big gap), Hill, JJ, Chase, AJ, Adams (below league avg) (BA #1) Success Rate When Targeted: BA, (big gap), Chase, Hill, AJ, Adams (below league avg) (BA #1) Avg YAC Over Expectation (weighted; min. 80 tgts): BA, AJ, Chase, Hill, Adams (JJ not shown) (BA #1) Comments: Adams needs to re-establish himself since he’s been held back and the oldest of the bunch at 31. Adams falls off, but is obviously a real contender to bump someone off at end of 2024. BA in my view edges out A.J. Brown and Ja'marr Chase. Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams are only temporarily downgraded but these two threaten BA more for next year's top 5 list. Not scored but factored in: BA outstanding (best) blocker; BA had great stats/performance despite the most other top stars on team so had the least opportunities/targets (highest efficiency). He's one of the few players in the league last year to have a 1,000+ yard season. I guess those 1,000+ yards were "utterly irrelevant to our offense" and "isn't worth a freaking thing to this team."

You failed to explain how Aijuk sucking has no impact on us winning or losing a playoff game. You failed to provide examples of other 1000 yard WR who that is true of. In essence you failed at everything.

Don't know who you are and I don't care. So, you looked up one stat and said he sucked. His YPC anad YAC are high, one of the top, if not the top. His ability to get us downfield and in position to score does have a lot of value. Who do you think is going to get us near the goal line besides McCaffery? We can't burn that guy up. We started to towards the latter part of the season and we lost him in the second half of a critical game. Deebo can't do it on his own and neither can Jennings. Jennings has become as valuable as a go-to guy in critical situations, but he's not as explosive as Deebo and Aiyuk can be. Mahomes is definitely good, but the Chiefs are on a downhill slide. We led them both times in the Superbowl and imploded at the end. If we improve our offensive line and allow Brock to relax in that backfield in critical situations, all 3 of our receivers have the ability to torch opponents defenses.

Nothing you wrote says Aijuk is good in the playoffs. You failed to find the elite WR who only has 1 TD after playing in around 9 playoff games. You failed to find the TD catch he has to win the game at the end. You failed to find me the difference in our victory or defeat linked to Aijuks performance. You failed everything. You bring up useless stats that have in the history of any football league actually been the reason a team won the Super Bowl or championship. You ask who else we have? Well obviously LOTS!! Aijuk only accounts for 1 TD in 9 PLAYOFF GAMES. We've scored LOTS of points in these 9 games. I mean where were you in these games? Has it ever occurred to you the primary reason Aijuk has a high average is because NOBODY CARES TO BEST HIM. To beat us you must stop CMAC. If you don't we win. If you do we lose. The playoffs PROVE this. CMAC was awesome the first 2 games. Then KC stopped him. And WITH Aijuk we sucked having to pick up the slack. Aijuk is NOT the reason for anything. He's the benefactor of having CMAC. He has all that space. because teams know they have to beat CMAC to beat us. Our 3 game losing stream CMAC was hurt and stunk (yet still scored TD). This was Aijuks time to shoe up and be the difference maker. He didn't. He never was. He never will be. Your average pet catch stat is a joke. When needed Aijuk isn't necessary.
