The best way way to catch craw dads is to get a net and lift up a rock and put the net by the rock when you pull it up and they will swim right in. I’ve caught like twenty in lime half an hour is a little creek near me

After watching him displaying his tubes, I googled trout colour receptors. According to one site their favourite colour is white. That might explain why, in some streams, marshmallows work so well.

These mushrooms 🍄 are called honey mushrooms. I eat them often. They are clearly growing directly from wood and that is a really good sign. They have black hairs on top predominantly towards the center aswell as a ring on on stem. Double check for a white spore print and cook for 15 mins minimum.

Those mushrooms are honey mushrooms, which are perfectly edible! Here's a tip to finding good mushrooms: Any mushrooms with a frilly "neck" and a cup at the bottom of the mushroom stems are often toxic. Those that have overly bright colours are to be avoided too(fly agaric being the most obvious of the bunch), as well as those with a sweet smell, and leave a staining residue on your hand when touched!

I don't know if it was just me or not, but the rock in the creek @ 1:52 looked like a sleeping person or just a face. Bottom left side. Check it out and let me know if you can see it too. Perception can be very tricky!

HEY READ THIS: the crayfish in Idaho are Signal crayfish (Pacifastacus leniusculus) the ones you were catching were the Eastern crayfish (Cambarus bartonii)

the mushrooms like look chanterelles/ trumpet chanterelles. which are very common and very much edible. but really really smart decision to never eat a mushroom unless you are 100% certain you know it is not poisonous!

There’s a mushroom app you can take a picture and it will tell you where you can find more of them weather it’s good or bad the name. I use it because I’m vegan and I’m still alive so I’m pretty sure it works. I have found all types of stuff because looking at the book sometimes got confusing for me because some good and bad mushrooms look the same but you camera can tell the difference that your eyes can not. Just an idea so you doing have to let good mushrooms go because you can’t find the picture. I want all your videos by the was I am sad tho it’s not as much as you used to do but I’ll take what I can get.
