When she starts riding the horse the first thing I noticed how steady her head is. The head does not go up & down with the horse's movement. I assume she rides high using her legs as shock absorbers. Amazing skills & lots of practice & training.
@@hazri999Not quite. Stirrups were invented by the ancestors of these nomadic riders. How Europe was almost conquered in the middle ages… a good seat is never at odds with stirrups it simply means you have a poor seat.
Horse Archery is such an impressive talent, and I'm glad that it's being preserved as a cultural sport. I hope one day it can become a worldwide sport, it deserves it :)
It is a worldwide sport! This year countries from all over the world will be sending competitors to Mongolia to comepeat for the world championships! A few of my friend where chosen for the USA team to compeat Mongolia! There are national rankings and international rankings as well. I am friends with the lady that is top in the Nation!
@@CHRB-nn6qp depends on where you live you could try searching "mounted archery my area" and then it will bring up Facebook pages, your countries mounted archery website and club in your area. Example if you're in the US the website is "Mounted archery association of America". And I believe Canada's website is "mounted archery alliance of Canada". The "International horseback archery alliance" is the international website for all the countries. Good luck and aim true!

Fantastic, these women are awesome! I consider myself to be quite worthy on horseback, and well trained with a rifle, but I have nothing on these gals! Shooting while riding is much tougher than it looks!
@@AltanNergui Can you please explain more, Altan? Is it because the bow poundage is not very high? Or is the thumb joint taped? Or simply used to shooting thumb draw without any protection?
Thanks for the clarification. I do shoot bare hand (without any glove or tape) too but I use pinch draw with second release. I guess it's all a matter of custom and practice what feels best.
A three year old is expected to tame wild horses to get from point a to point b. China tried to keep videos of Mongolian might quashed. FYI ever wonder why Venice was built on water? Because horses can’t fight on water and the huns were from the Mongolian steppes.
Just watch what the Kahn’s Guard do and follow them. I use 100% mounted force mainly made of Khans Guard, to great effect, I can run down any other army, and defeat them even when greatly out numbered.
