The 'se' is impersonal and signifies that forgetting was an accident and not on purpose. You would do the same if you were to say you dropped something, such as saying, "Se me cayó el celular al rio."
24:11 he also isn’t saying “the untidy wife”…he’s saying “I married Fred Sanford!” - he’s talking about the tv show in the states “Sanford and son” - that’s what the singing-ish part is about - it’s the theme song. Man this would confuse the hell out of me if I was watching this NOT in English!
