1) The term busking was first noted in the English language around the middle 1860s in Great Britain. The verb to busk, from the word busker, comes from the Spanish root word buscar, with the meaning "to seek". The Spanish word buscar in turn evolved from the Indo-European word *bhudh-skō ("to win, conquer"). It was used for many street acts, and was the title of a famous Spanish book about one of them, El Buscón. Today, the word is still used in Spanish but mostly reserved for female street sex workers, or mistresses of married men. 2) The place is 51 Ship street in Brighton and it is a church, formerly known as Trinity Chapel. 3) SHE SAID is an erotic boutique.

In fact, it is not different place at Brighton. It's the same street as in previous video, but its opposite end. In other videos from this place (and from a different camera angle) you can see a shop before which their concerts are taking place. In this your video you can see it at time 7:48

It is a different location, but it’s the opposite end of the same street - maybe 100 yards away :) They are opposite the door Ren walks out of at the end of Animal Flow too. Oh, and the place he recorded Violet’s Tale is the opposite side of the building they are facing in this video. (I may have been curating a map of all the locations used in the videos as I love geo detective work ;)

There is a saying in the UK "to busk it" meaning to wing it or to continue without preparation.

Haha, yes She Said is a lingerie shop and the building you were asking if it is/was a church, Yes at one point it was a church but now it’s an Art Gallery, it’s on the corner of Duke Street and Ship Street it you want to google street view it. It’s opposite the building that Animal Flow was filmed in and when Ren comes out of the building in animal flow, you can see the church in the background.

Also split from the Germanic roots into French "Busquer" in nautical terms meant to sail around. Later was coined to mean someone who was in layman's terms a "traveling salesman or performer" hence the current ideation Busker as street performers.

Pretty much all towns in the UK have pedestrianised areas. Remember that we have lots of tiny streets that have been there down the ages, and don't lend themselves to modern traffic. The safer environment for pedestrians often becomes a haven for buskers. Some local authorities take a firmer approach to controlling this with permits, but pretty much anyone can go busk provided they don't create a problem. In fact it's often considered beneficial to have in a town centre.

Busking comes from a nautical term to cruise about, tack, searching and it later evolved to mean to go about selling things, as in searching for custom, on the street selling wares etc and that would incorporate performing on the street looking to get people to give you money for your performance and when physical media came about you would then also be trying to sell your tapes/CDs or DVDs etc

This and the 'I shot the Sherriff' vid are the same street - Ship Street, Brighton, just different ends of it. Everything is relative, If you live in Australia, Leicester is next door to Brighton, If you live in Britain it's a pain in the hole 170 mile drive.

that's how we are in Texas too! In Houston, going from one side to the other is a pain- I mainly stay on one side of town. ☺
