People don’t understand Monika’s verses which is the main reason why she lost. People just go off of the beat and how the beat sounds not by the wording most of the time.
No, I'd say it's more because Monika had more to work with than Harley did, because Harley had way more backstory than Monika, and yet still failed to really deliver the lines the way Harley did - and Harley had very little info to work with, because Monika's entire story is that she can't get the MC because she's in a computer, and still killed every line. Monika just didn't do as well as she could've.
I personally think Harley had better roasts, but she kept talking about the same thing. Monika talked about different things. There were a lot of inferences to Doki Doki Literature Club I don’t think that you got. But this is just my opinion.
I mean there’s not much to talk about! Harley has a huge past and a bunch of material that could be used against her, but Monika has almost no past so she kinda has less material

Nope, I have to say Monika won. Harley did not really had anything else to say about Monika. Okay, she was deleted by MC. I got that. She just say the same thing but using different words. But Monika had way too many thing to say to Harley while Harley was stuck to one thing, cuz there is not much to say about Monika. So. .. Monika won. (sry for my bad english)
Again, I have to say, that's Monika's entire character. That's literally her entire story, she can't get the MC. The only reason that Monika has more to say about Harley is because Harley actually has a backstory, and has been around for decades. So, in my opinion, Harley won for compromising with what she got (and having some bomb lines to go with it).

Honestly I love Harley Quinn, my favoritism side is begging, but Harley didn’t really say anything besides you couldn’t get your dream lover, but with monika she said things about her voices, being a side chick/not meaning a lot to joker, Jared Leto, her children, her abusive relationship, even brought up how some of movies aren’t doing to well sadly. I feel like Harley would’ve had a better chance with more variety.
This is my opinion but there was nothing else for Harley to go off of because Monika doesn't have a backstory she's a character in a fictional dating game so... But that's my opinion. :3
When I first saw this I thought Harley would win, because of her past, she was and still is smart. Like in suicide squad she "went in peoples heads and spit in them." Harley's smart and so is Monika, but I think Harley just has a talent for beating people with words. I think Harley won this round.

I had to watch this battle about three times, at first I was a bit biased on Harley since I knew her for a longer period of time and barely knew DDLC, but after I got more into it, I have to say Monika won this. IMO, she had a better Rhythm in most of the battle, and seeing the references made and how good they were (Natsuki, Yuri, Sayori puns on deaths / Just Monika, Fourth Wall break, etc.), she gave me a higher favor of her rap.
A rap battle isn't about how hard the bars hit.. A rap battle is about which sounds better. If it sounds trash, no matter how hard the bars hit. If it sounds like garbage, bitch, you lose.

So, I Think That Harleys words were getting quite boring because she kept on repeating "MC HaTeS YoU" And "MC DeLeTeD YoU" so the repetition annoyed me a bit but monika actually changed her subjects about harley and the part where monika leaps out of the computer is epic. Monika won this fair and square for me.
@copycat brain, I don’t think so. Monika’s bars had way more variation than Harley’s. She covered things like her very questionable relationship, her past, even had a go at Jared Leto’s Joker. I wouldn’t really say everything she covered could be boiled down to ‘you’re a loser’.
My whole statement started with ‘I don’t think so’. This means that it’s my own thoughts and opinions and that I’m not trying to shove them onto you. You showed no kind of ‘this is my thoughts’ in your comment so it more or so came off as ‘this is exactly how it was’ instead 😞✌️🥴
So I feel like a lot of people are saying that they think Monika won because all Harley’s insults were about how Monika didn’t get MC. The thing is though, that’s the main thing about Monika’s character. Like I love her and all, but she doesn’t have much of a backstory or personality other than that, so that’s the only thing she can get roasted on. Sad she did give much thought to the Domestic abuse bar and birds of pray bar. Monika has the better rhyme scemes but harley had a little better world play, and for punches, I would give it to monika. So overall i'd say monika won.

"Cause as doctor, i'm licensed to silence this virus" The look on peoples faces when they find out Doki Doki Literature Club is a game that acts exactly like a virus onto itself for the sake of emersion. Along with the 18* joke, Quinn calling out that she's just someone with an existential crisis about the "right guy" that literally got played by a computer mouse while Quinn got played by a guy whose ass she later whooped, and Monika was pushed aside as a side chick while everybody was after Quinn's ass in either a literal or 'giggity' way causing Monika to turn into a control freak. I do agree that Monika's rhymes did make the cut, like Yuri did. (That was harsh I know but staying with the theme XD) And she can take 'D.L.' because she did get owned by D.C. As a one psycho woman army vs 4 different girls under some haunted Illuminati-having book.

Noone saw how Monika came out more with way more things to roast about a longer rap better rap beat and timing.She manage to fir all her roasts into just a few lines.Harley didnt have much to roast about.She didn't do much but talk about MC her raps didnt shoe much talent and was pretty short.Monika takes the win.Majority of these people just probably came up with some reasons to say harley won.

copycat brain you don’t need to keep responding to them. In my opinion, Monika won. Definitely hit harder with her topics. You can disagree all you want, but not everyone is going to have the same experience opinion as you.
I think Harley definitely won the battle but it was very close because all she talked about in the begining was about how she wasn't going to end up with joker. Harley on the other hand in the begging talked about silencing her with facts, like how Monika thought her "prince charming was on the other side," but instead it's just the person playing. She also talks about how the "Mc" (main character) deleted her with the computer mouse. And since a lot of people played Doki Doki she says that Monika is used to being killed by the main character. After that Monika stepped up her game in the second part and that's why it was close, but even though she stepped it up Harley still got with it and exposed her for how desperate and thirsty she is. And she talked about Monika getting "cock-blocked" because no matter what she did and who she erased from the picture, the main character didn't like her and rejected her as well because he didn't like her. And they both talked about how they were burdens and "nuisances" to their crushes. Even after all of this though, I think Harley Quinn definitely destroyed Monika.
