Yes, I don't honestly know what kind of relationship they've got with the aq (how much money aq pays to promo their magical products) but when at Munich audio show just too many presentations had aq cables ...
Finally! Someone domestically has seen these up close. Can't find any US reviews on the new Cinergy line! I have been running a HT setup of MA Soundframe's for my 5 base channels and Paradigm for my rears and 4 atmos. Sounds great, but room for improvement! I have been eye balling the Cinergy series since being announced. Gene, I hope they send you some 100/200's or 300's to sample!? I need to get some expert opinion on these. Also need guidance on going with Cinergy's or Perlisten new "on/in wall" series. Cheers ~
They make some beautiful speakers. That first speaker is a tour de force of engineering and I imagine can throw out some serious db with 4 bass drivers and 6 mid ranges. Would the material the cabinets are made from be similar to AcoustiComp? I've got Quintet 5 which uses a similar sounding material to defeat cabinet resonances.
The handheld camera dialogue segments are far too shaky. This is Bourne series - Doug Liman/Oliver Wood - levels of shaky. Please get a gimbal if you want some movement.
If I wanted smooth movement I'd get a gimbal. Going handheld I got exactly what I wanted to achieve. But Gene is always looking for a camera guy. Would seem like you know exactly how to handle the job. Send in some of your sample work.
@@therealshanelee No thanks, I don't desire a camera job. I'm just not interested in viewing a simple dialogue with camera work from the arena in Gladiator; especially if the product discussed is a 95K pair of speakers.
@@justlooking813 I'm not interested in everyone's opinion on how we should do our jobs. Unfortunately it happens everyday. We can choose to listen or not. You can choose to watch or not.
@@therealshanelee Agreed. We can also choose to engage. It seems all your dialogue segments are about action and tension. I'd never expect an official representative discussion to turn out this way. Good luck with your further shaky camera segments. I'll be careful of the door on my way out. Please know I'm leaving well satisfied with my viewer engagement experience.
hi Gene any idea in buying a binaural microphone so we can get close to what u hear and how it sounds like listening to it in a good pair of earphones?? There is probably no chance for many of us to buy these or even hear it in real!!! Pls consider!!!
Recording a speaker in a room so you can listen on headphones is never as close to what the person heard in the demo. I don't like misleading our audience claiming it will be so, no that won't be happening, unfortunately.
@@AudioholicsMissed opportunity!!! Other channels will pick up the slack, what a pity because this was my 1st time on this channel but realise it's devolution/decent by not willing to adapt/adopt and embrace technologies.
@@xzing7Its not a refusal to adopt modern tech, its a refusal to mislead viewers by telling/showing them what they want to hear. Would you ask them to record a video of a tv and expect that to be an accurate representation?
@@xzing7 I don't mislead our viewers into thinking a binaural demo is representative of what you will actually hear from a real demo. If you enjoy the smokescreen of such nonsense, there are plenty of channels that will cater to that for you. Audioholics promotes legit engineering science and psychoacoustics. I pity anyone making purchasing decisions based on a RU-vid "listening" comparison. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5zQjIMuT_MI.html
@@Audioholicsif you make 3 videos about it some people going to be upset about the excessive brand promotion. Throw in a sub vid or 2 and people's brains are going to melt
Hi Gene. This is off topic. I know you like listening to dolby atmos music and use Tidal and Apple music and you love Pink Floyd. I see that Tidal have some Pink Floyd Songs but unfortunately it is not allowed to play them. Unfortunately I don't have Apple music but they might be allowed for there subscribers to play the dolby atmos versions of Pink Floyd Songs. If they do I hope you enjoy it along with your family. It will sound great on your 4 or 6 atmos speakers.
I wasn't a fan of Monitor Audio's classic stereo oriented speakers, even less by their more modern AV oriented designs. Not my cup of tea for some reason. However I confess that I might swap my Tannoy DC3000's for these, or maybe my TDL Studio 1's. But not both. Not unless I'm allowed to sell them on :).
It's a statement piece to celebrate their 50 year anniversary. Don't get too excited. They have a lot of great value for money speakers in their range.
