Thank you :) I just couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the mic effects on my monitor at home while I test everything out. Of course it's cause I need the master mic volume up! Taken ages to work that out DOH! So cheers. Rich. Yorkshire, England.
Just the info i needed as i am using Mackie proFX12v3 for a school chorus concert and am using 2 Bose s1 pros for main speakers and need to send a singers out to one monitor for chorus kids. Assuming i need to do that through auxiliary send.. also running music into board as mp3 from ipad. Using an rode m5 condenser pair for overhead miking and one shure sm58 for main speaker … Thnx for posting
Great Video thank you. Question: on certain mixers there is a solo button that enables you through your headphones to preview a channel before you send it live, does the Makie Profx12 has this capability?
Why is Mon Send Mono? I get that most stage monitors are single speakers but in studio my monitors are stereo. It would nice to be able to go either way with Mackie fx
Question: Is it possible to use the fx slot as another aux send possibly? Maybe be dialing the fx on the mixer if I can and then it should be able to be another aux send technically right?
Thanks. I have the Pro FX12. I don’t think I can but can I have two monitors with separate volume controls for stage? Vocal wants to hear himself more but bass player doesn’t want vocals.
Thanks. You dont say what kind of cables you use to make monitor work. Also, what cables you used to make the channel play music etc. I think i know but would be more helpful. Thank you
Can anyone tell me how to send the effect to AUX of this mackie pro mixer? The effect is doing good for the main out, but the aux doesn't deliver the effects.
I'm a drummer, and want to use monitor/Aux for in ear (left ear)in my profx8 v2, to hear 3 vocals channels I have bass drum in first guitar channel, and want to close this off, would that be possible plugging mono jack into monitor/Aux channel then headphones into that, then closing off the green dial on first bass drum channel?thanks.
@@expertisland I have an amp and two passive monitors: how I have to connect them to the Mackie Profx12? When I connect the aux input of the amp to the monitor aux to the mixer the result is a mono channel, how can I use the monitor aux for the stereo signal? Thanks
