Some fun in the reptile room giving my Gillens Monitor (Varanus gilleni) an enrichment feeder letting him track down his own food! Follow my Facebook page for more / coopsreptileworld
I'm going to try that with my Ackies. I don't tong feed. I use my hands. To get them very tame. I also have lots of rocks and branches in the tanks. Where the crickets can hide, and the Ackies have to search them out. My Ackies are not only mentally stimulated. They are very tame sleeping in my pillow case at night.Tonight Tidbit an Ackie I hatched is sleeping in a cowboy boot on my bed. Sometimes Tidbits mother will carry on and scratch at the glass until I let her sleep in the pillow case. They are just like humans. Cary Boyd Tucson Arizona
Man I love these videos and I’m thinking of starting to collect reptiles but I’m trying to convince my parents to let me and if they do I might start my own channel thanks for great videos and the inspiration
Do you think its reasonable to house monitors outdoors as long as humidity and temperature is steady? Also what do you think about housing multiple monitors together with daily supervision?
