2018 I was 6k in debt. I went monk mode for alittle over a year studied finance and worked out. I lost 50 pounds, became debt free 30k in the bank and going strong💪 working my way up to 50k.
This channel got me inspired to take the plunge. Semen retention, zero p*rn, zero algorithm-based surfing, zero junkfood, and zero anything low effort/high stimuli. July 4th was my start date, and I'm starting with 30 days as a target, taking it from there. Thank you for the work you do to uplift your fellow man bro. Looking forward to sharing my results with you guys as I move forward. LFG
So funny I found this video while in my "monk mode" and didn't even know it. On March 1st I decided I was going on a 90 day fast from social media, food, and sex. I started training for a 5k I have coming up, a juice/water fast and running daily for 5 days a week. As an introvert I love it here anyway. Life and people were becoming too distracting. It's time to level up. This is my last year caring around all of this weight, both physically and emotionally.
Bruh I hear you lol. I watch hours of RU-vid a day - I just try to be intentional during monk mode to make sure it’s educational stuff or stuff that has to do with my goals it’s tough
@@glasco_ Same, however my interest in the current geopolitical situation and what appears to be an impending shtf scenario has me torn between present goals and investing for two very different potential futures. Lotta juggling going on over here… Forward!
Never knew what mm meant, I'm actually doing that now, got rid of the toxic woman, living in a new town alone the past 2 months, starting a new job, so I must be total focused and rid my mind of all the negative forces. I have nothing to lose, and everything to gain, but it's hell starting all over again with the clothes on your back, and in my late 50's.But the good news is I'll be better off in 6 months than any other time in my life.
Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that everyboy who reads this comment will be successful in life..
Yesterday i came home after spending some time with 2 former close friends. I got high with one and drank a few beers with the other. Mind you,i've been doing SR,exercising about 3 times a week, but in the last few months, after the holidays, and after i stopped working,i got in a negative runt. This yesterday was like a negative culmination. After coming home, this video poped up and i watched several others. I swear to God,i took it as a sign. That day yesterday will be the last day i behave like that. It's about damn time . I'll update. Greetings from Serbia.
THIS VIDEO IS WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! I just didn't know the name of it. A girl I follow uses "cave mode" but no one else uses this so I couldn't find other videos on it! Thankss! Totally going to watching playlist!
Goals: -lose weight and gain muscle (caloric deficit + weighted workouts) -become a country champion in English and/or history -improve my relationship with God -start enjoying my hobbies (reading and art) again -reduce my screen time on 30 minutes a day -start learning Italian again I will be in monk mode for 40 days (from February 22 to April 9)

Brilliant advice and very well delivered, but the only thing I'd ask you to consider is the distinction between output-based goals and input-based goals.
Dos and donts for me on monkmode: Don't: - No parties, alcohol, meeting up with friends - no junkfood - no caffeine - no sex, porn etc - no social media (unless for your business) - no news of any kind - no music - no RU-vid - no family gatherings (negative energy and drama) Allowed: - Daily exercise (gym, martial arts, walking, Running) - 2 liters of water daily ( half a gallon) - meditation - reading for 1 daily - eat healthy - write down your goals and work on it every day.

You should definitely cut out video games. They are too distracting, and all the people/"gamer friends" on there are toxic. You use your competitiveness in games instead of in real life. Netflix is a distraction too. You don't need to watch those series.
I’m currently 40k in debt, I have finally got my mental health under control. I broke up with my gf who I loved to commit to bettering myself. In one year from now I’m gonna have it all.
The videos I have seen on "monk mode". I think it's too restricting, or a scam artist trying to scam you, but I have been sober last 11 months from drugs, alcohol and gambling. I stopped gaming, limiting netflix, I spend all my time doing the 12 steps/AA meetings, lifting weights, writing/composing music. I have been doing monk mode without realizing it.

In this situatuon my goal is to be a rally driver but since i dont even have a drivers licence now i want to start competing in rally esports so basically that requires bettering my skills in a video game. I need help because im insecure if i could play rally while in monk mode
I don't see how good sex with the correct partner is a a bad distraction... I can understand that thinking about sex all day is bad. But good sex may be the best to have a good mood and concentration. It doesn't have to be a distraction, unless you don't have it, and you keep thinking about it
No. The universe ebbs and flows. The planet ebbs and flows. Seasons ebb and flow. To remain stationary, in anything, Is not natural. If you want to be a monk that’s fine, but monk mode, is diff
