The Monkees three surviving original members are Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith. You Bring The Summer is from The Monkees 2016 new album Good Times! Michael Nesmith sings lead on The Monkees last hit single in 1969 Listen To The Band and What Am I Doing Hangin' 'Round from 1967 album Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. The Sixties TV pop sensation were live in concert on The Monkees 50th Anniversary Tour at Hollywood Pantages Theater, Los Angeles, CA September 16, 2016.

Was blasting this in my car. Young kid pulls up beside me, asks me who this is. He never heard of the Monkees. Told him to check their catalogue. Happy to bring more Monkee love to the new generation. Thanks Mike for a timeless classic.

I wish Michael Nesmith would have rejoined the Monkees for their 45 anniversary tour. Which was Davy Jones last. It would have been great to see all four of them together l.

The Monkees are my childhood. Staying home from school because I was sick (whether real or faked 😏) and watching TV all day was the best. Especially when The Monkees was in the line up! 😎🤩🥳🥳🥳

Saw the Mike & Mickey Show (Concert) in LA tonight. Absolutely fabulous. Neither has lost their voice. Highly recommended. 1st show of tour started tonight in LA. 2 1/2 Hour concert.

youre very privileged to see all three of them together for the last time. I saw them a few weeks right before that in Vancouver.....right before Nesmith rejoined the group for the remainder of the tour (he announced he was going to rejoin the group on the day of the vancouver concert, and the concert after vancouver would be his first appearance)

He also came up with the idea to for MTV and he sold it because he was too busy! He made Pop-clips which he showed the how to make your music on VHS! Mike was a visionary person! I have looked at every interview he made as the news caught on. I plan to get the book he wrote on about his life.

I saw them (Jones, Dolenz, & Tork) in 1987 without Nesmith; he never wanted to be part of any reunion. I guess that now in his old age he needs the money.

According to Mike and Micky every time they asked him he had other projects or tours of his own happening. He did make unscheduled and unannounced appearances with them from time to time.

It's a shame Mike couldn't remember the tune to "Listen to the Band" - which he wrote. My mind can only keep in phase with the tune & rhythm of the popular studio recording. It's a "no" from me.
