Charlie the gorila was a character from the old war times comics he was named Sgt Gorila and was part of a special comando, one more cool reference to DC obscure lore that Gunn loves to give a wink

I think the butterflies are not entering actual humans, I think they are piloting human ships (like in Men in Black) I also don't think ALL butterflies are bad... I think Chris is going to get help from the sweet little butterfly he saved from that mission.... Peacemaker is feeding it and forming an emotional bond with it, that's how it knew he was sad in episode 4 and it was trying to comfort him. Beings that are purely evil would not care if their CAPTOR was sad. 😞
