How do you find the perfect girl? Easy: U go on the street and ask every woman u find "Excuse me, but do you have a cousin named Sven?" They'll look at you like you're a creep but if one answers "My cousin Sven sends his regards" MARRY HER!
This is the second time I've read a comment like that, I have yet to find a video with a comment saying it's the best version. Off I go! Oh, this is the best version I've heard so far. Not sure about the metal bit though...
@@stofosaurus So I just listened to it again, and yeah, the metal bit is pretty cool. Maybe I was disappointed they didn't do it on the main theme. LeChuck theme just reminds me of being stuck on the ship haha
Great performance. The Monkey Island main theme is wonderful and inspiring, but... that final rock part of LeChuck's Theme is outstanding. Very clever arrangement!
@@tobituesday5948 it’s 2024 and you got me here thinking about Kings Quest, Full Throttle, The Legend of Kyrandia and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.
Wow didn't know that this one is already 10 years old! I remember watching it looong ago and it is still so awesome. Loved the last part! Amazing work and still the best cover on youtube for this epic intro. The Curse Of Monkey Island... I don't know how many times I've played it XD
KDog31619 Sadly that's not happening.. What I wish for is Ron Gilbert somehow getting the rights to Monkey Island from Disney and making the game he wanted to make (he said last year that he wanted to make the third Monkey Island that he had planned before leaving LucasArts)..
Qué bueno disfrutar de esta melodía en una noche de verano mientras saboreas una jarra de grog bien fresquita junto a la playa de Puerto Pollo. Horas de diversión y aventuras con el amigo Guybrush... Todos los Monkey Island, Grim Fandango y The Day of the Tentacle son mis videojuegos favoritos de siempre.
Questioning what kind of nerds would play this, is legit... questioning what kind of nerds would listen and cheer to this is... legit :-D Excellent job guys!
nicely done! the main tune is just sheer nostalgia .. a tear springs to my eye upon hearing this. The graphics are no match to current standards .. but the storyline .. was/is just .. unforgettable. It's been like 15 yrs since I played this game .. but the song put the pieces back into place .. out of nowhere. Just .. an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia .. as if I want to talk to other people all over the globe about these magnificent games. Best regards, Orion
hey, you know they did a remake of the first 2 games with illustrated arts and orchestrated music ??? they are actual pieces or art! should search them, they aren't expensive on Steam platform to play. I played when a child to the original MSDOS game, and then played the remakes, it was awesome...
I listen to this video every day. Not only the band is awesome, but this music also reminds me of the best time of my life, and my passion for adventure games, specially LucasArts' (LucasFilm in that time).
I used to play this game on my father's lap when computers weren't common at all!! This brings great memories to me! What a great game! Thank you for playing this music!
Of the point-and-click adventure games I played as a kid, nay even up to now, the Monkey Island series have been my favorite, along with Fate of Atlantis. Still can't beat Curse of Monkey Island though, the amount of nostalgia is so off the chart it's reached Neptune.
I don't know who these guys are or where they are from, i'm just happy to see uvva people honoring this great concept called monkey island i loved so dearly back in the day and still do. awesome!!!!!!
this song brings back so much memories, its my fav soundtrack of all time. BEST GAME SERIES EVER!! i got 1-4 and the 5th one which is basicly different parts. such a great game
Its not just that theme, Monkey Island all parts, even Tales of Monkey Island has this Piratey theme going on in the background all the time. Even when you are stuck at a puzzle, that theme in the background don't let you get bored.
Job well done guys. I find myself playing this video and the Scumm Bar theme song video everytime I am looking for a bit of nostalgia. Oh the goold old days of sword fighting, voodo magic, and Lechuck butt whoopin.
