But recently the W.H.O. told members of the LGBTQ+ community that there was no need to curtail their "celebrations" during "Pride Month". So either the W.H.O. is made up of a bunch of spineless cowards who are afraid of upsetting the LGBTQ+ community, or they really don't care if the virus spreads.

Dr. Seheult also has the talent for mixing facts with fiction or a deliberate attempt to support his idea with unconfirmed facts. On 2 or 3 occasion, he made deductions based on fiction. 1. that the current cases in europe came from Nigerian male sex with male. This is totally false. The truth is that yes, monkeypox cases were imported into europe in 2018/2019...thereafter it spread undetected until the gat community met in Canary Island to superspread the virus all over europe

Years ago in the late 1980s or perhaps early 1990s in suburban Boston backyard we had what we called a few "tan squirrels" that of course stood out by their coloring vs. the more common gray squirrel that were ubiquitous in the back yard. But the tan squirrels really fascinated us. I remember seeing one (I assume it was the same one) that had pinkish pox like lesions on it's face and I remember feeling so bad for it but it would reappear in the yard for quite a while so whatever affliction it had - it did not seem to kill it (or perhaps there were others that had it as I did not tag the squirrels for ID). And it only seemed to be in the tan squirrel variety (or perhaps the light coloring made the lesions more conspicuous). I remember thinking to myself looks like some sort of pox lesions and this was before anyone heard of monkey pox. I took photos of the squirrel on 35 mm and I believe sent it to New England Wildlife Center? but maybe another organizatino out of curiosity what this was but I never heard back as I recall. I still keep my old negatives so I want to check those because the lesions I remember as I said looked like pox lesions.

So, I'm not sure where the MSM information came from for the Nigerian cases, I happened to work in the hospital where the 11year old boy was managed and they did have a pet monkey at home. Most of the cases occur in families so it's more likely spread by direct contact. Also, with growing urbanization in Nigeria human habitats are spreading into forest regions and, it's pretty common to hunt wild animals for meat. So, rather than labelling it as more common in MSM, it should be stated as direct contact so everyone will be more aware and alert.
@Medcram

Generally, antivirals can lead to other viral diseases. This because almost all of us have several dormant viruses in our bodies(probably) not doing harm, from earlier illness (maybe asympomatic or just “ flu”) or maybe from vaccines? When antivirals suppress one virus, like hiv, the delicate power balance in the body gets disrupted, and another virus may reactivate and take its place so to speak. How antivirals etc can interfere on mutation rates or even two viruses mutate into one or not is interesting.

This is not to you Medcram, but to the whole viroligist and scientific media space....funny how we're allowed to use the geographically derived nomenclature (West Africa, Congo Basin, etc), whereas any notion of the term "Wuhan" for sarscov2 was rapidly discouraged. I guess when it is related to monkeys (which of course it isn't, actually) and Africa, suddenly we don't have an issue. Same goes for "African swine flu".

@peterjf7723 2 года назад
The best practise in the naming of diseases and pathogens was changed by the WHO in 2015. Terms that should now be avoided in disease names include geographic locations (e.g. Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, Spanish Flu, Rift Valley fever), people’s names (e.g. Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, Chagas disease), species of animal or food (e.g. swine flu, bird flu, monkey pox), cultural, population, industry or occupational references (e.g. legionnaires), and terms that incite undue fear (e.g. unknown, fatal, epidemic). However the new best practices do not replace existing disease or pathogen names since that would cause confusion
@solomonthell7589
@solomonthell7589 2 года назад
Absolutely! Also, interestingly enough, in the beginning of their SARS-COV-2 outbreak in 2020 the greater scientific community all seemed to agree that African countries would be among the hardest hit. Ironically, the citizens of these countries remained largely unvaccinated & somehow, their countries exhibited the lowest rates of the virus. Now, we have a virus that is "African" in origin. But, Africans need not worry as we have the JYNNEOS vaccine!

It's not that contagious considering air to air transmission, there aren't asymptomatic cases, and it should be visible if you get infected. You need to have a skin rash for being contagious. Should be actually pretty easy to identify infected people for contact tracing, except for anonymous sex parties 🤔 As long as not everyone has sex with everybody they meet, I don't see a risk for a pandemic.

Thank you for posting this. I (as a gay male) am interested in knowing the risk this virus poses. At what point should outreach to communities most effected be happening. Clearly this virus can spread to anyone of any sexual orientation, but so far it seems fairly limited to the MSM community (especially in the West). I've warned some of my friends about it, but the times I do they blame me of stigmatizing the gay community. While clearly not my intention, I worry that without the right kind of messaging to our community this could spread more and in the long run hurt our community. Thoughts?

@@Medcram Yeah it's sad when there is so much corruption in the medical industry by Big Pharma money that people can't trust the medical establishment. Like when Anthony Fauci moved the gain of function research from University of Chapel Hill to the Wuhan Lab after it was made illegal to do that research in the USA. And Fauci sent Peter Daszak of the "Eco-Health Alliance", the same guy who was overseeing the NIH grant to the Wuhan lab, to investigate the Wuhan Lab leak, and Peter found himself and Fauci completely innocent and he determined that COVID came from a meat market and not from the Level 4 biosafety lab that was doing experiments on COVID and bats and HIV spike protein just blocks away from the meat market. What are the chances? Why doesn't the medical system speak out about Big Pharma corruption from the top of the FDA down? Just like some pyromaniacs are drawn to become firemen, some mass murderers and psychopaths are drawn to become "medical professionals". Why does Fauci always push for vaccines instead of effective theraputics? He recommended Remdesivir for HIV, Ebola, and now COVID, almost like he has a financial stake in the company.

I’m originally from Africa. I got chicken pox when I was a child and have been vaccinated as a child against small pox bc at the time it was mandatory over there. Monkey pox has been around for many years and like chicken pox it spreads through direct contact with a person infected. My chicken pox was contracted from my brother who contacted it from a friend he was playing with in a sand box as a kid. Monkey pox is not a death sentence and it’s not airborne. People are taking it way out of proportion. The vast majority of the cases here in the US are within the gay population. People need to become more aware of promiscuous activity and the consequences of it. Monkeypox is the least concern , when in reality HIV is spread also through promiscuous activity. If you live a clean, healthy life, rather then random hook ups, kissing random people, touching up against people you don’t know then you will be safe. Monkey pox is only contagious when you touch a person who has an open sore(pox). Moral of the story…stay away from touching up against random people with open sores. I’m not sure why someone would even want to touch someone that closely who has clear open sores. It’s disgusting 🤢

Have you looked into the Germ vs Terrain theory debate that's happening online? Why is it that the same pathogen in one healthy person can have a totally different effect on another person? You've probably been breathing in strep pneumonia from your pneumonia patients but you don't ordinarily come down with pneumonia - why is this? Why are large percentages of the population 'asymptomatic' carriers of pathogens and should we be doing more in medicine to help optimise the terrain rather than focusing on the germ which is what conventional medicine does? There's a whole other debate happening online on whether viruses even exist as they claim that Koch's postulates (modified in the case of viruses called Rivers postulates) haven't been met for any of the virology diseases and that 'isolation' in the scientific articles is deceptive as their methods show that they haven't truly purified and isolated viruses and then demonstrated disease via animal models. I would love to watch a debate between an established virologist and one of these medical doctors advocating terrain over germ theory because I don't think they should just be dismissed outright and I think there's a learning value for the listeners
@bradcampbell5766
@bradcampbell5766 2 года назад
Personally, I believe this doctor is so impeccably misinformed and indoctrinated into germ theory that he won't want to question germ theory. Why is it still a theory and not a PROOF or a LAW or atleast a POSTULATE? It is clear to me that germ theory is a fraud. How can you explain all the diseases throughout history that the scientific establishment tried to blame on a pathogenic virus only to discover it was due to a vitamin deficiency, or toxic vectors like DDT? Poliomyelitis has nothing to do with a virus, yet people have been conditioned to think it is a virus. Polio was almost completely eradicated before they came out with the "vaccine". How convenient.. If Polio does not have a viral cause, then there is no need for a "vaccine". He says HIV is transferred through blood and semen, yet there is not one scientific paper from a study proving that HIV causes AIDS. They have studied sex workers and they never detected any spread of HIV. Besides, HIV was never isolated or purified which means that it does not exist in nature, but only in silica, or a computer fabrication, and the same can be said for all other so called pathogenic viruses. Even if a "virus" could be isolated, you could never prove it is the monocausal agent of disease. John Enders experiment in which he claimed to isolate a pathogenic virus in 1954 was bogus. Dr Tom Cowan spent $40,000 to re-create the Ender's experiment with a couple colleagues and he was able to disprove Ender's claim of a pathogenic virus particle. The truth is unfolding, and germ theory is crumbling. The fraud has to be exposed otherwise we will continue to be enslaved due to complicity by ignorant people who trust viroLIEgy. Virology is based on a BIG LIE!!!!

Is it possible that both are right? There are varying levels of pathogenicity of microbes. The least severe are good examples of where terrain theory might hold up. However, infectious agents such as Eboli, N. Meningiditis, Hanta virus and others couldn't care less about the health of the host - this is where germ theory rules. Why do we make this so complicated and turn nuanced ideas into black and white spitting contests between ideas such as germ theory versus terrain theory.
@bradcampbell5766
@bradcampbell5766 2 года назад
@@rogerseheult1312 I believe the medical establishment and science has become completely corrupted. You say that microbes have varying levels of pathogenicity, so they should be able to isolate these particles and characterize specific attributes. Also, there is an emphasis on the idea of predisposition to certain diseases based on genetics, and I believe they use this to disempower the public from exploring independent pathways to optimal health. One example from a drug ad that I have seen is the one for the Shingles injection. They claim that it simply doesn't matter how healthy your lifestyle is because Shingles doesn't care! This is an attempt to ascribe an intelligence to Shingles when it is obvious that environment is King. As an MD friend of mine says, "Genes raise the gun, but environment pulls the trigger". We have much more control over our health than we have been led to believe. How can the same microbe cause disease in one person, but the same exposure has no effect on another. I hope our feedback helps you to take a new path. The truth is coming out. I am a bit surprised that a doctor representing Loma Linda would be so sold on a nefarious agenda. I associate Loma Linda with an enlightened point of view associated with the SDA church. I have been to a lot of SDA services, and they generally have a better diet with more emphasis on vegetarianism, and Plant based eating...Shabat Shalom!

Yes, You are probably much more educated than I am in the sciences in general, but I have heard that we all carry the streptococcus bacteria(?), but obviously only a very few people get strep throat. You are excellent at that and kudos to you for the time you take and the effort you make to produce this material. It could be just me being hyper-sensitive to the way our Western societies are turning into something resembling China or the way you chose to word certain phrases like using the word "distressing" about "some results" that triggered my reaction. In short, what I'm trying to convey (and I hope I manage to do clearly, as I'm not a native English speaker) is that I am getting more "distressed" about the way people get constantly worried for what life throws at them, as if stability and safety is the norm rather than the exception to reality. It's clearly the latter and the sooner we realize that the more we get out of the time we have left on this existence.

@@C_R_O_M________ Yeah exactly, honestly people are fed up on both sides of the asiles politics of course so that movie called Dont Look Up with Leonardo Dicaprio is the feeling i have that most people have, we just don't care about it anymore we just want to live are life and do what we enjoy, and if you look at the civil war in america or any war, the way a war ends is when the people of the country say enough is enough, no govt or leader can hold people to do what they want, we the people decide what we want to do. So yeah im gonna live my life the way i want and i think that what we realized after this crazy covid mess that decdied oh yeah we people can control a virus like we can control a tornado or hurricane, its like its mother nature, you only can hide in a shelter for so long, you have to live with it and that is how it goes.

Hi Singapore here, we have a report of an imported case from a Nigerian traveler in April. However there’s no follow up on how long that traveler is going to stay here. To date there’s no known reports of any kind of spread from that imported case.

Most of these cases are from a traveler from Nigeria where this virus is endemic. Another reason why the Wuhan lab leak theory is really very unlikely. www.newsweek.com/scientists-dismiss-monkeypox-lab-leak-theories-1710007

Thx for the update. It seems to me that the amount of press Monkeypox is getting compared to the real risk puts it up into the fear-porn category. Time will tell, but regardless, it's still good to hear a professional opinion.

Sounds like they want to keep people living in fear and social distancing...but realistically it would just be wise to just stay away from someone who has suspicious lesions of any kind and refrain from anal intercourse since that seems to be the easiest way to contract it, which is super odd to me.

considering that monkeypox isn't nearly as contagious as covid, WHO only recommends those in close contact with infected ppl get it. apparently the incubation period is long enough that u can get the vaccine after being exposed before the infection takes hold.

The virus is contagious when symptoms are felt by the host, this is before outwards signs of infection can be seen.

Don't worry about responding to the kookiest theories in the comments section. But do understand that if the Chinese lab was also experimenting with Monkeypox, people are going to wonder about the origins of the outbreak, -- although it does sound like the cases broke out in Africa.

In the GA to AA mutation, I suspect it’s the C in the minus strand that’s mutating to a T via a uracil intermediate. Upon DNA replication, the T pairs with an A in the plus strand. Thus, GA to AA.
