Maybe to put out the fire Red son caused? And that monkie king and the gang locked the fire away? Idk, this is just my speculation. Its already obvious that the LMK series doesn't follow the original books to the letter, but they use it more as source material I think. Idk. But it would be sick if Guanyin appears in maybe season 4?

I think they decided to adapt it to a more friendly scene cus in the story Guanyin tears that boy 500 new holes (literally) with that heckton of constelation swords she summoned and disguised as the lotus he sat in. I can only imagine being extremely graphic and horrible (and she only did that bcs he disguised himself as her to fool the others)

It makes sense as True Fire of Samadhi was one of few things that could actually hurt Monkey King and might have actually killed him if he stayed longer in them. That is despite the fact that Wukong is immune to fire and has like 5 forms of immortality so yes its pretty OP

Red Son was born strong (with his fire powers and all), and his fire powers spiraled so far out of control that even his parents' strengths combined couldn't stop him. Red Son was just born OP, LOL.

Mei got possessed by the true fire samadhi. Red Son originally had it but it got separated into four pieces. one of it landed on Mei's original ancestor connecting Mei to the flame by that piece. Red Son is going to help Mei control the flame since he can do fire.

@@nightstalker5282 So what I'm getting is that, originally, they planned to defeat LDB with True Fire Samadhi (considering it's so powerful that Red Son almost killed Wukong with that ) but since Mei's directly linked to the fire, she's now possessed by it and basically things escalated? I can't understand Chinese so I don't get everything but anything helps haha

@@okaywaybright.1565 I can't understand a word their saying too, but based on the fantastic work by the animators I understood the gestures and face expressions very well and pieced together what was going on by simply watching your video and the last 3 minutes of the season 3 to know what happened. I will rewatch season 3 again when it gets Dub. I did heard there's a sub in the works. I really want to know what Red Son said to Mei. I just finished binge watching season 3 after watching your video. Heard season 3 was out caused me to look it up your video popped up I fan girled. Watched your video then season 3 ending understood the plot looked up season 3. Now I'm done and want more. Now after watching everything it seems the true fire samadhi can be tamed for a short moment by a reaction. Mei got control of herself for a moment to escape before harming anyone when MK hugged her. The fire was about to control her again until Red Son threw her plushy at her side calming her down again. I really want Red Son to aquire the fire again getting full control after internal fighting with it then killing Lady Bone Demon. Thank you for making this video. Red Son is my favorite character.

My guess is that Red Son is going to try to manipulate Mei or steal the Samadhi fire from her but they will eventually become genuine friends with eachother.

The only correlation is that they're both Lego. Both shows have their own stories and ideas, with Monkie Kid itself taking a huge inspiration and acting as a sequel of sorts to the Journey to the West
