Full build details & links are in the description. I still can't believe I finally got to build a board by TGR! For folks who have tried both, do you prefer top-mount or gummy o-ring mount? Let us know in the comments. As always, thanks for watching and hope to see you in the next video ✌🫰
That sound at the end of the video. Holy crap, it's perfection. It's like a perfect mix of a deep tone with a pure higher pitched marbly/rain drop sound.
Your content isn't just keyboard building but keyboard art. To give such respect and care to such a high-end board is very nice to see as a viewer. Definitely earned my sub! Great content man.
the tomo is so slept on, got an SE version on mechmarket for 450$ brand new, has to be my favorite board even over the very much hyped kohaku. its beautiful, has a clean sound signature with great alphas and one of the best spacebars out there imo and the regular tomo can often be found for around 300$ on mm which is a steal
then there's me that did buy this board for gaming lol. This has replaced my SAT75 and as not only does the TOMO feel better to type on, it sounds so much better!

Amazing video with just as amazing board! Just some words of criticism (or kind of opinion); at 11:40 when you show a brief soundtest, the music could be lowered so that it's easier to hear the soundtest.
Hi, great video and montage. It's high quality and I enjoyed watching you build this. I have question if you've every tried wire balancing to remove ticks? I saw it from other creator i think better than putting alot of primatex? Idk I'm just giving opinion because it works for them.
Yep! The wires on this set were just fine out of the box. In my experience, even with balanced wires, stabilizers can tick if the keycaps aren't perfectly straight. And you're right - too much grease in the wrong place can make the key feel really mushy, but as long as you inject smaller amounts into the cavity where the wire sits it should work like magic to get rid of any ticking.
Hi there! I purchased them with the keyboard from the Monokei store. I'm not sure if they are still in stock, as I don't see the page on the store anymore.
Oh yeah, that's a tough one. The Sonnet seems really nice too. Honestly, I don't think you can make a wrong choice between those two - you should get the one that looks and sounds nicest to you!
