So I decided to rebuild my Tomo after my initial review. I have to say, this configuration made me love the Tomo's sound. The case foam made the o-ring mount very firm, very close to the original top mount. I didn't want to use force break mod on this one because it just didn't feel right. I'm glad I did the rebuild because I can be lazy at times.

personally i didnt use any foam and did the forcebreak mod instead and it seemed to get rid of a lot of the "hollowness" while retaining the sound signature of the board which atleast for me is amazing, also i top mounted it which i ended up liking more than the o ring mount

Rebuild sounds very well worth it. Did you use plate foam as well?

Thanks! No plate foam. I think the O-ring would not fit if there was plate foam.

hello, how to do the oring with screw in like you with staebies? I have durock V2 and the oring does not go down to the stabz level

Haven't used the 7V so I can't comment. If it helps, I have sold a lot of my boards in rotation but I still have my tomo. I really like it.

Bro do you still own this tomo? I’m looking to get one sana. Any insights from a long term user of the tomo? Is it still worth it at this point in time of the hobby? Or any suggestions for a better premium 75 kb? Tia🙏🏻

Yup I still own this tomo. I still like it and is my main 75%. There 's a lot of Tomo being posted in FB marketplace for around 25k so try to look or post a looking for Ad on FB. I kept it because of the aesthetics and it is really one of the better looking 75% out there in my opinion.

@@TheDredgenProject thanks for responding. I was able to order a new tomo for $309 with free kaban and free shipping so I’m very excited. I honestly thought i’ll spend more on the sonnet but guess I got really lucky that the tomo went on huge sale when I was looking for one. Hope i’ll really like it🙏🏻🙏🏻
