Correction: You can't move to any unowned space when you roll Mr. Monopoly, you move to the NEXT unowned space. Which is good because otherwise you'd be able to buy Boardwalk or its alternative turn 1 on a 1/6 chance.
The mega edition is basically an improved version of the standard monopoly. 1. Additional property per color group 2. Additional utility (20x the amount of dice if you have all three) 3. Train station depot (if you own all 4 stations with depot, you get a hefty income) 4. Skyscrapers 5. Bus tickets (use them wisely because once you use them you lose them and they are not coming back in the game) Bus tickets can be very useful if you want to get your hands on train stations with depots and the utilities early in the game in order to have a nice income for properties and for development. I really want to get my hands on this version ASAP.
Winning strategy: sell or mortgage everything to build up blue that way when all properties are built your opponents have a greater than 1/6 chance of paying you over 1500+ dollars every roll
Each player begins with $2500, including a crisp new $1000 bill, in addition to the standard five each $1’s, $5’s, $10’s, six each $20’s, and two each $50’s, $100’s & $500’s.
+Millie Lopez Thank you for your comment - but you are incorrect. The Royal Blue now has a 3rd property - Florida Avenue. The Brown also has a 3rd property - Arctic Avenue. Neither of those were present in the original game.
