A playthrough of Hasbro's 1999 board-game adaptation for the Nintendo 64, Monopoly.
Played against two computer players. This was recorded directly from a Nintendo 64 (composite cables into a XRGB-Mini, fed into a XCapture-1 via HDMI). No emulation involved. N64 emulation tends to not look so great with its weird resolutions, so here's the real thing.
I really like this version of the game. It moves along quickly and has a lot of neat animations going on throughout. I wish there was a bit of voice-work (the '91 NES version had that!), but there's a ton of personality imbued here through the board and its pieces.

A really classy rendition of the classic board game. It's full of personality and overall a lot of fun to play with a few friends.

Dude thank you. I've never ever made it pass a full game on the n64. But when I was a kid I'd often play this just for the music and sound fx. Hasbo made great soundtracks, my favorite being glover.

I have this version of Monopoly, I also have the Wii version as well but I prefer this version because of Nostalgia to me, Get N or Get Out.

Board games on ps1 always attempted that fmv stuff for moving pieces but on n64 it was about that in game 3d!

To enable the owned properties on the color of your token, hold the R button. To disable it, release the R button.

I must find the ROM of this. I thought that Monopoly for PS3 was the first to allow for money on Free Parking. I didn't know the 64 version did that first.
