The Dreaming hits the hardest especially when you watch their movie.

I was crying by the end. The dreaming is so heartbreakingly beautiful This whole album is just stunning. I am so proud to be their fan, they really only put their best effort on everything and do it with a genuineness that can be felt through it all I really couldn't imagine a better korean album, yet they did it with No Limit And I couldn't imagine a better English album and here they went again, blowing my expectations away So many people refuse to look at Monsta X, they judge them off of a title track or two, but boy are they missing out. I hope more people can find this album and their music, and find comfort in them ♥️

"The Dreaming" is absolutely a masterpiece!!!

This album is just EVERYTHING an english release needs to be and beyond. The boys and their team did an incredible job in creating an incredible project that feels relevant to the western music scene without being cliche or basic. It’s the perfect example of an artist approaching the mainstream american sound in a refreshing manner. The whole mood and atmosphere of the album is INCREDIBLY coherent from song to song even though multiple genre influences exist throughout. It’s also such a visual album to me, I can picture scenarios in my head. The storytelling is amazing as well, it almost feels like a one night journey in which a lot of things seem to happen, from a relationship all the way to self reflection and an existential questioning. I find it so so intriguing how they managed to do this, it’s insane to me. I also appreciate how ELEVATED their english skills are with this project, you can tell they worked hard to achieve this and there is an incredible jump from the first project ( even thought I taught that was great as well ) which enriches the overall experience of the album. There are some beautiful vocal moments, I love that I.M got to be more present on this one and just overall the selection of songs is very sophisticated and mature. This to me is just a remarkable example of how a kpop artist crosses over. If this album was released by a major american artist it would be EATEN UP by the public and be regarded as a smash, I hope the boys get to have a lot of success with it but I have my doubts as they are not that well know there yet which makes me so upset that this project and the first one get to fly so under the radar. But still, how incredible that they still care to do their best even though they know they might not receive the best back? Real artists really. Anyways, this is getting long, I could talk about how amazing this album is all day. It’s probably my favorite english release of the year, including american artists.

This entire album is a masterpiece, but I think my favorite has to be The Dreaming. I don’t particularly lean towards the melancholic or heavy songs, but that one is just… SOOOO GOOOOD. So heartbreakingly beautiful. And the message is just-! What’s the point of gaining everything you ever wanted if it means that you lose the sense wonder and magic you had on your journey there? AUGH. It breaks my heart every time in the best possible way.

Based on the tiny teasers I really liked the sounds of 3 of the songs and didn't expect much more but the whole album is really really good. I really like About last Night. I was originally afraid it was going to sound too Taylor Swift (not that there is anything wrong with that) but it changes it up and basically it was all a pleasant surprise. I also don't mind that they didn't have any featured artist. This will be on repeat for me.

We are the same. I guess it is the INFJ in me that feels more than hears. And Monsta X, across all their discography not just this, it communicates to my emotions and soul too. That's why they are the only group for me.

I'm struggling to pick a favourite too, but About Last Night, Whispers in the Dark and The Dreaming are definitely up there if I was forced to... It's such an incredible album, Monsta X are always proving their talent, range and musical diversity, their only competition is themselves because there is literally no one doing it like them. I'm just so proud to be their fan right now, only a couple of weeks ago they were promoting No Limit and performing Rush Hour!

Their signature on their English releases is the emotion that they bring to the songs. It just came to life as if it's about you. It's sounds so good. Very natural and not cringy. All About Luv tracks are lit about different phases of love and here on The Dreaming Album is melancholic like you are really dreaming about it. So perfect 🎶👌

Omg I am early! I can’t wait to hear what you think about the album!!! Edit: I love how MX just completely throws themselves completely to the sound they want make or explore. Their releases are so diverse but distinctly Monsta X. The Dreaming is special for me as I feel like they are singing about their journey and struggles as a group. They have been through a lot. Also the most important reason is that they are singing it as 6. Shownu’s glorious vocals in the chorus just made me ugly cry when I first heard it. After listening to the album several times now, I love all the songs but Whispers in the Dark and Blame Me are competing for my absolute faves from the album. Really another amazing release from MX. I love that there are songs where Shownu participated so we can enjoy his awesome vocals still. The fact that they released 3 amazing, high-quality albums within 8months is such an amazing feat.

I'm so happy i gave monsta x a chance not too long ago, and they became an ult group for me sooo fast. Mad i couldn't get tickets to their Chicago concert in Feb. They just have such a different vibe from a lot of the groups i listen to. It's really cool. Like you, i tend to feel more than hear, so their music just really speaks to me. Out of their Korean albums i love rush hour, one of a kind, and Fantasia.

I love this whole album. It’s a tie for me between Blame Me, The Dreaming and Tied To Your Body as my favorite b-side. Changkyun’s vocals have come such a long way, he sounds so amazing on this album.

The Dreaming hit me hard I felt pain for them more so as if they are sending a message, I know they are always over shadowed and hardly given recognition for their hard work, but yes The Dreaming was mine favorite. When i first heard Whispers In The Dark from the teasers days before they released the album I instantly fell in love, I keep playing the teaser every night prior the release date because I knew I’d love this song a lot. While I was sure You Problem is definitely a retro disco sound, Whispers In The Dark is also has that retro influenced, I myself is a huge fans of retro music so knowing 2 tracks from the album sound like so already got my expectations high(!) D-1 of the release date I went to watch their movie (if you dont know, they have The Dreaming Movie playing on cinemas but only for a short of time), in that movie Jooheon (iirc) said indeed The Dreaming is retro-focused album, I was beaming inside because I couldnt wait any longer. When the album released in my country I listened through the album and I’m so in love with this whole album in one listen, although I have 4 favorite tracks (You Problem, Whispers In the Dark, Blame Me, and The Dreaming), every tracks in that album is beautiful. I can relate to your reaction when hearing Whispers In The Dark and Blame Me 😂 I read your description and you say this is your favorite album this year by BG, how do you compare this with OOAK? I really love OOAK as well, but after The Dreaming released I think OOAK went down to #2 on my top album lol. p.s. I’m so proud of them but for me personally I’m really proud of Hyungwon and Changkyun in this album, I’m only a 3 months old Monbebe but I can see how both of them have improved a lot in this album 🥺

I absolutely love their 1st english album 'All About Luv' I honestly didn't think they could top that. But I can't believe it, I think they might have just edged it with this one. This album is amazing. My favorite track is The Dreaming...you too will realize why after a few listens. For me this song weighs heavy on my heart and at the same time gives me hope. Definitely a repeat album. I'm also a proud owner of a signed copy from their recent fan meet.

The Dreaming is a song that has to be heard around the world. Kpop or not. MonstaX or not. That song has to be heard.

i enjoyed your reaction so much!!! my favorite songs from the album were the dreaming, blame me, and about last night. still, there's something about the dreaming that hits entirely different. it was so emotional yet you could feel their restrains. somehow, their emotions was still able pass through those restrains and i believe that made the dreaming more impactful than their other songs - along with the innocence you could feel from their voices.

I was in the movie theater (a couple of hour before the album was realesed) and when they started singing The Dreaming (obviously was my first time hearing the whole song). I swear I was just like one popcorn away from crying my soul out in front of everyone

This album absolutely gets you in the feels. It’s amazing. I like the songs like Tied to Your Body and Blow Your Mind but I lean towards the dance tracks. The Dreaming makes me cry every time though.

It’s just so good. I don’t ever like whole Albums and it’s rare but Monsta X gets me every time. But to be able to listen to all the songs on repeat and not get tired of them is amazing. They work hard and it shows. The last song got me in the clouds. Thanks for sharing!

ITS BEST ALBUM EVER

I love this album, like I loved and own All About Luv, though not quite as much as that one. However, I have to honestly say I like their Korean albums better because they are harder, louder and just more "Monsta". Also, they have much more involvement in the Korean songs.This isn't saying I don't love this album and won't play it almost constantly, I will. I'm just more into their heavier, louder sound. I haven't chosen a favorite song on this one yet. Leaning more toward Blow Your Mind or One Day.

I also love Whispers in the dark on the first listen. I cried listening to it in the cinema 😂
