I.M and Joohoney are both like s-tier rappers. for joohoney, even before he had officially debuted, he was so talented that artists were already adding him to their songs as a featured artist.

In the Love Killa, each member potrays characters from different movies. You got it right Joohoney was Joker, Hyungwon represents Fight Club, Minhyuk was American Psycho, Kihyun was Silence of the Lamb, I.M was the movie Drive I think, and Shownu was Kingsman. Correct me if I got it wrong guys

Monsta X loves experimenting with their sounds so its understandable to not like every single one of their songs, since none are in the same genre of music. Which also makes Monsta X unique! They are a 9y/o group and they released A LOT of music. So I would recommend listening to more of their discography to discover more sides of MX!!

I’m a die hard Monbebe and love MX but Beautiful was a miss for me. Fantasia I have to be in the mood for. Honestly, their b-sides are where it’s at. Joohoney (pronounced jew honey) wrote and produced Gambler, Rush Hour and Love. I love Rush Hour and Love Killa. Favorite b-sides: -Beastmode -Mercy (written and produced by Hyungwon) -Zone (written, produced, composed and arranged by I.M) -Rotate (written composed and arranged by I.M) Some of my favorites that you haven’t done yet are: -Beautiful Liar off their album from 2023 written by JooHoney, I.M, and Hyungwon. -Kiss or Death -Dramarama -Jealousy -Follow My favorites from their 2 English albums (which have a completely different sound to their Korean albums) -Love U -Misbehave - Got My Number -You Problem -The Dreaming ❤❤❤❤❤❤

The tracks you seem to like are for the most part written and produced by the guys . Beautiful and fantasia came out at not such a great time for them and the tracks are good but not really them . I still love both but I get it that some people don’t but keep going with them they never disappoint

Beautiful was my intro to MX, and I was sold. That song has been my alarm for years lol. With Fantasia, I completely understand. It was the first comeback without Wonho, and it seemed like they lost their footing for a minute (the Japanese version of this MV is pretty awesome). They definitely got back their mojo when Fatal Love came out (Love Killa was the title track)! No-skip album. Check out their debut Trespass, Hero, Rush, and Stuck for older stuff. Joohoney, and Hyungwon have written and produced a lot of their newer songs. I recommend Secrets (from One of a Kind; yes, there are 3 MX songs with the same name in 3 different languages lol), Wildfire, Ride With U, and Wanted. I must be the kind that enjoys most MX songs, old and new. I mean, I like how they've evolved through out the years and you can see and hear all the different styles they have tried and how they have come up with their own thing ❤ Also unit song by Shownu and Hyungwon "Love me a little" + solo songs at some point from Joohoney, I.M, Kihyun and Wonho. Minhyuk doesn't have much solo stuff out but if you want to add a bit humour to your MX reaction list, add Ongsimi by Minhyuk feat Joohoney, it's an experience 😂

Disappointed you didn’t like Beautiful & Fantasia, both iconic songs, but to each their own. So glad you liked Love Killas and Rush Hour tho. Monsta X has such a large discography all the songs are just amazing bangers, grooves and ballads!

It's probably because you've heard an even more matured/stronger/skilled version of Monsta X. Beautiful is more chiller so that's why it felt less impactful, but during it's time it was 🔥🔥 If the members had their hands on it now it would go strongg

I recommend Beautiful Liar, Kiss or Death and Jealousy! And every slow song they have too... they're amazing vocalists ALL of them, including the rappers.

Fighter/Beautiful + their albums completely sold me on Monsta X. Been a fan for years and they keep coming out with even better songs, no other artists has done this for me. Their discography goes HARD

First of all thank you so much for reacting to MonstaX they are my ultimate favorite group . Second the songs starting from Gambler album , love killa, love, rush hour, beautiful liar, and onward were all songs /albums made by the members themselves, produced, composed, wrote , line distribution everything that’s why you’re are drawn to these songs more but as a monbebe am so proud of their journey ,they have their own standard/path in music and am here for it.

For Beautiful, no joke the first time I heard it I was like it’s gotta swirl a bit. It did and omg that song really is just ahead of the curve. Fantasia was an era for me where it was bittersweet as one of their pivotal members left the group to protect them from false rumors and allegations, I still loved the song it’s such a powerful song for real! I would love to see you guys react to Wonho’s stuff 🙏🏻 For Love Killa and Rush Hour they were produced and written by Jooheon! He’s such a phenomenal producer/composer, Jooheon is the only SSE artist to be able to compose/produce Title tracks for their songs. With MX their music they experiment with their sounds they are always playing with stuff and they don’t stick to any genera

To be honest this is the most honest reaction about MX, like as a MONBEBE i love all the songs, every song has their vibe and difference between them, but also has the sparkle of MONSTA X, but also the difference between each song is what makes the group so unique, I would recomend to watch the debut videos cuz they are very different from their senior videos but they are also very cool, I RECOMMEND: *TRESSPASS* , *HERO* AND *STUCK* and then you two can notice how MX has develop themself into *idol to artists.*

Next time around yall gotta give Hero, and Follow a listen those are like their two most iconic songs. Beautiful Lie is their most recent its good, but I'd also love it if you gave Someone's Someone a listen, it's their like, best English single

Yeaaahhh it takes some groups a couple albums before they really find their sound. Beautiful and Fantasia were kind of an experiment, you could say. They aren’t my favorites either. But once they hit Love Killa, Beastmode..they really locked in. I think my favorite thing about Monsta X is they also release English albums that have a completely different vibe from their Korean albums. In the words of Jose, their English albums are “for you”. Like straight up mature content. They’re very r&b, which is cool because not only can Joohoney and I.M., they have beautiful singing voices. That said, you gotta throw in a “Beautiful Liar” reaction and their English song “One Day”.

Fantasia grew on me over time, when it first came out I didn't know how I felt about it

The feeling of being so unsure about Beautiful is exactly how I feel about that song too, like definitely not my favorite. And then Fantasia I love the instrumental for it but theres also something off about it for me too. And like I feel too because the first deep dive they were all hits for y’all it might have been a feeling of like, “they’re so good whats happening here??” Kind of confusion because honestly, too real 😂

Some kpop songs you love right away, some you love the more you listen, and I feel like some you get used to. Fantasia is the last one for me.

Hey like I wrote in my reply to another comment it’s all good if you don’t like the songs as much, we’re chill here. I don’t even love every single song by my favorite artists and MONSTA X is high on that list. I’ve been a fan since shortly after their debut and when songs like Beautiful, Follow, Fantasia and Rush Hour came out I wasn’t really into it. They’re still not my favorite songs but I find myself enjoying a lot of those songs after some years have passed like why am I suddenly vibing to Fantasia lol?! Anyways some other MVs by MONSTA X you could watch are Stuck, All In, Fighter, Shine Forever, Jealousy, Dramarama and You Can’t Hold My Heart! There’s also plenty of b-sides I would love to recommend to you guys but you probably want to watch the title tracks with MVs first so maybe at a later time. Please also do Love Me A Little by Shownu & Hyungwon as well as other members solo releases if you’re interested! Thank you for the reaction :)

Thank you very much for your reaction, I really enjoyed it because it was an honest one and you tried to explain and investigate why you didn't love the song. The songs you chose are from different eras and "Beautiful" is the farthest one, when Monsta X had a different style and sound. What I really like about Monsta X is that you can easily recognize their style in many of their songs but at the same time it evolves and matures with time. I'll be honest, I don't always love their titles the first time I heard them, but I assure you those are the one that are stuck in my head and I always sing when come up in my playlist XD Can't wait for more reactions about them, hope you will listen to some B-sides (usually my favorites) or the solo and unit albums of the members too. I also recommend listening to Wonho's, he was a former member of Monsta :D

Monsta X's two different all English albums are amazing! Also their song with Steve Aoki is awesome, Play It Cool. They have a lot of mainstream collaborations.

Plus, they already have several (more pop-music style) full English albums. Also recommend Kihyun's solo albums (Voyager, Youth, Bad Liar, Rain, Comma) and I.M. just recently got one out, too.

i think the word you're looking for is generic, for beautiful! i do agree it's one of their more generic songs compared to the ones you've reacted to previously. and don't worry about being real, monbebe are grown so we understand! i have songs i skip over because i gotta be in a certain mood too. i prefer their heavier edm stuff. i think you'd like beastmode and sambakja.

I believe Monsta X started producing more of their songs around Love Killa release which after that album they just released consistent bops. What I will say is Monsta X has many sounds from pop, rock and love to do softer songs as well as we like to refer to them as Sofsta X. I would definitely check out Beautiful Liar or the reason album of you can. Or even the English tracks!

It has been a while since I watched a reaction video and I love that you guys are honest. Monsta X’s songs are not for everyone and you def have to be in the mood for some of them lol. I totally agree with y'all I love these songs but sometimes I'm not in the mood to listen to some lol BUT ik it can be unavoidable to compare groups but you need to know that "kpop" has sub genres and not every kpop group is going to have the same sound and style as others. Come in with less expectation and just appreciate is as what it is not on " well it wasn't as upbeat at the others" etc. overall I love watching your reactions !!
