i totally agree omg most groups tend to find their sound later on, but monsta x was one of those groups that just sorta /had/ their sound swinging straight from the gate, and trespass really IS one of the best debut tracks imo 😏

in Monsta Xs early song you can hear Jooheon always shout out Starship (their company). Like my boy was a fresh kpop idol newbie wanting to be on the company's good side until he stopped. I see it as a he knows his worth and how the company needs him more than he needs them. like what an ACE.

Jooheon's comment about the neck being at a 90 degree angle was in relation to a big critique he was getting as a dancer in that he juts his head forward quite a bit when he dances.

Oh i have so much to say about this album, because honestly is my first ever and my fav monsta x song all the time simply because i broke up with my ex and i started ugly crying while listened to this mean song. But their live stage for honestly was sooo cute i think I'm obsessed with the song 😭 And i agree with you this album is solid and it's crazy that they're starting like that?? Oh I'm so blessed i knew them from the start 😭 Maybe because they're quite old when they debuted, so their song has this mature and sassy vibes from the start. They just never missed. Honestly is such a funny song to me like idk if the translation just comes off meaner or if it was supposed to feed their bad boy image? (I remember them saying that for "Rush" the concept was that they were "little devils" lmao) Like maybe it's supposed to be more self effacing or bittersweet but it comes off sooo triflin This album was so crazy though they came out swinging
