Yesterday I was told by a friend that works at a bike dealership to get monster brand for my 2017 ZX10R cause they are made in America lol. I’ve been watching reviews on them & I’ve seen more bad reviews than good so I’m not going to deal with this company. Thanks for the video
I would pass on it. it's not worth the money. If you have all your original hardware use that instead and get oe hardware from yamaha if some are missing. The bolt kit from monster feels cheap and looks cheap.
Ive been waiting for EVER!!!! ORDERED at the beginning of March. Still waiting. They said it shipped out beginning of July. I did go with a custom paint scheme. And ive had to reach out to them non stop to get any info or updates. They literally told me after i paid for my kit. It would take 20-30 "working days" to complete then 15-30 days to ship. Clearly not even close. The pictures they sent me of them..... look really GOOD. But like you said be prepared to wait 3-5 months. Period! My kit cost about 950ish. After i finally got the pictures of them kinda quit being anxious and excited to receive them. Now I know, they'll be here when the get here. Oh well...
Yeah dude, I told em the fact it took this long ever hole should be spot on and shouldn't have to drill shit! They just emailed me and said will be arriving Friday. So I'll see.
@cashusclay69able I would definitely like to hear from you once they get installed. This is what my channel is about, no b.s. reviews. I see all these other bike builds and they never have a complaint, why? Cause they are given for free.
Yeah, I looked at as many reviews possible before I bought them. Cause I could of got plenty for about 4-500. Easily. It wasn't till it was paid for I started seeing the long ass lead times. So I'll keep my fingers crossed
Yeah, it took a better part of a day to make them fit properly. They lined up ok, just drilling out the holes took some time and the hardware store runs didn't help. Would I do them again, probably. It's not a bad alternative if you want to change up colors and what not.
just FYI matte and satin if scratched can not be touched up have to be fully painted, just a hint keep it shiney so it can be touched up and buffed. Guy had sati painted car OH he crapped a brick when he found out, no one tells you that entire panel some time entire thing has to be done to match right
Appreciate the review looking to do something for my Ninja however you seem to be super forgiving. Imo I'd be pretty pissed off if I paid that amount $ that they charge and had all those issues. Seems like poor quality control. What's on ur bike looks good but man. I could care less about the waiting I want it done right.
Thanks for the comment, yes I am a forgiving person. I was more pissed about the two pieces coming in broken and waiting for the replacements than the time to make them fit. If you want a different look, you can't beat them. I am actually thinking about another set, maybe a matte silver.. 🤔
@@moton8tion866 even with what you've said I'm still considering using them not sure there is a ton of other options out there but still doing my research.. I am eyeing that Nardo grey 🤤.. . Thanks again man! Starting up a channel too.. Like ur content 💪
@AC-Ninja Thanks for the kind words. The reason I went with monster was the selections they have to chose from, plus you can make changes to suit your needs. Good luck. Subscribe also, send me a link to your channel.

I think I stated that. If you want to keep costs down or do something different with color, go his route, but understand you will need to spend some time to make them work.
Are you asking about how to attach the inner black pieces to the outer pieces? If so, I had to run to ace hardware and get some self tapping screws for plastic.
@@SamAlbanna-tj3gq You will want something like this. kb-3d.com/store/inserts-fasteners-adhesives/275-m2x10mm-self-tapping-screw-for-plastic-hex-drive-1640931303062.html
@@moton8tion866 thank you for this. I went to my local hardware store and got screws to secure wings. I do have one question if you can help me out. The front two bolts for the tank they are not lining up with the frame. Did you ever have any trouble with this?
I got into a pretty nasty wreck on my bike destroyed all my fairings I was looking at OEM fairings for my bike but to replace them all they want 8K so decided to go with monster fairings
So I had ordered from amotoparts, and they never notified me on the status or the fact that you're able to "modify the order," and they never contact me is wild but they are still nice caring I will say
I bought fairings from monster and they were stolen off my door step and monster refuses to send me new ones. Im out 600$ now so order at your own risk
Hat sucks. People are a-holes. How long did you wait for them. Can you still file a dispute with the credit card company, and is the shipping company gonna help out.
