Would you prefer rock or wreak structure for fluke!

Great question. I really don't have a preference on structure. I like finding whatever the fish want to use. I do like finding a mix/combination of structure. A wreck close to a channel swing, drop off or bottom composition change is always a plus. I also try to really learn about the structure I'm fishing. Learning how the current effects it, how the tide and drift angle set up the fish on it and when the perfect stage of the tide is on it. I hope that answers you question. Thanks for watching.

I’m not sure but you guys are reeling in the fish so slowly that maybe they are not getting tired and freak out at the boat. I believe a little faster retrieval won’t hurt just a thought . Awesome fishing though!🎣

You should’ve lifted the net straight up and down you would’ve locked the fish in you kept Annette opened and flat for him to flap out of your net. You should know better.

I hate when I see people HOLD THE NET TO THE POLE. This is what happens, you gave that monster 0 net to swim in and that’s why this happened no other reason. You may be very very experienced but that’s a bad move on a huge fish. Idc what anyone else says. There’s a reason I use a large silicone net instead of mesh netting, I don’t have to worry about my net getting in the way or looping over when going to net a fish.

@@nextdriftfishing Yes. We pulled it Sunday. It over heated and sounded like a box a marbles W/ no power. Musta sucked up something or brand new impeller failed. Dont know yet. Just know its gonna be costly. Looking for options now.
