I think they’re after Clawdeen, Since she died but came back to life-therefore she cheated death, I think they showed Frankie bc they’re gonna help Clawdeen or to state that the third film isn’t going to surround around them for the side plot like this film revolves around Clawdeen AND Lala

Perhaps it's a blood thing and even if she turns into a human, it'll still hurt her because she has monster blood. In fact, I'm pretty that's the whole reason she didn't die in the first place; she's half-human.

@@MeemahSN yeah honestly that’s what I assumed happened since we’ve been told in the movie like twice that that metal kills monsters. Either that or Draculaura or Frankie Revived Clawdeen somehow

@@oddgirl2813 I doubt they would have the power to do that, since Frankie seems to only have electricity, and Draculaura was too busy fighting "Green Bitch"

I think it was because she doesn’t have her strength in the human form

She would still be half monster so it probably still would've harmed her and she had to be in her werewolf form and bend the bars with her enhanced strength to snap Draculaura out of the trance

Omg yesssss like they just threw that in there for a reason for her dad to visit 💀 but honestly g1 will always be the best in my opinion from the outfits to the character’s personalities overall 😭 and also that deuce x clawdeen thing is basically just a recycled version of Cleo x deuce frrrr

@@Miraculous_chimken fr!!! It's honestly hilarious, I'm sure all this was good in thought but execution could use some work. G1 is amazing through and through, nothing will top it, that's a fact. One that will never change and get better with time, but I appreciate how they're tryna bring Monster High back through g3 even with the weird choices.

The strike made it so the actors won't do press for any projects. They could have tried to show scenes from the movie, but I think the studio just couldn't create materials to promote the movie.

Yeah, not to mention the fact that witches are basically monsters, and have been portrayed as such in many different cultures and regions! The lore of the new gen is so bad lmao, I have no clue what they were thinking when it was made.

@@morningstar7032 I think is pretty obvious... witches are not monsters in this MH universe (you know, how different fantasy stories have different mitology), they are humans that have magic, so they are different from regular humans but also different from monsters. is a different take and seems pretty similar and reminecent form Wizards of waverly place, actually

My theory is that while Clawdeen can change into a human, her heart is monster and the Enchanted metal can sense that. With the first movie when she used her human hand to open the lab it wasn't magic it was science so I'm guessing having the touch of a human hand is enough and the mechanism can't sense her minster heart.

Considering Frankie was really the only part of the first movie I liked (haven't watched the sequel yet) I am in higher spirits hearing there'll be a Frankie focused movie.

I also had that thought, but then I though, hey didn't Frankie get enhanced strength? Why can't they do it since they'd be faster at bending the bars.

I think since she's half human she could tolerate the metal more than a full monster like Frankie. The metal is also Enchanted so I'm guessing it can sense monster the same way Cleo's scarab can sense magic.

@@burbujas4448 That had to be the reason Clawdeen didn't die in the end. Being half-human would have dulled the effects of the metal, even if just a little. I'm pretty sure if she was full-monster, she would not have recovered from that.

As another black woman, I really don't CARE what race a VOICE actor is. Live action actors should match, but a CARTOON is a CARTOON. If races not matching in a cartoon bothers you, you should be mad that Samurai Jack and Elmyra Duff aren't voiced by people who match their races either honey. If you prefer a black VA that's fine but a VOICE actor not being the same race in a CARTOON shouldn't BOTHER someone. I mean nobody gets mad when the NATIONALITIES don't match but if the race doesn't, it;s like "NONONONONO I HATE IT YOU'RE DISRESPECTFUL RACIST NASTY OH!". Also in MH specifially if Clawdeen being voiced by an Italian-American pisses you off than by this logic Frankie should be voiced by a German, Deuce should be voiced by a Greek, Kiyomi should have been voiced by a Japanese, every VA should have matched the race and culture of the character, but no just pick and choose who you don't like. If you care that's your problem but plenty of black people (and other POC) don't get triggered by that. Cleo being played by a light skinned Israeli in the movies, THAT is fine to criticize. Not a voice actor not being black/white/Asian/Latino, because it's a cartoon and most of the time they;re playing westernized assimilated American/Canadian characters who only have ancestry from a certain place, so they're not even putting on an accent where you could tell. Yeah, Clawdeen has a New York accent but that has no specific race connected to it so don't say "blaccent"

I didn't condemn anyone or say anything remotely hateful to warrant your response I was just saying something that I enjoyed about gen 3, and while it may not matter to you, it makes many people happy :))

Trust me bestie you probably didn’t miss much if you don’t watch the newer movies **(in my opinion)** lol… I never had the books but I did watch the gen 1 and gen 2 movies and series and they were pretty great but these newer ones are kinda sorta not all that 😅

Overall, its way worse unfortunately. Barely worth watching, and the fashion ain't anything to write home about anymore imo
