Monster Hunter 6 NEEDS These Monsters... 

I hope we'll see Najarala again, he's a very cool monster and he would be a nice addition to the future MH games.

I hope we see Rathalos in Monster Hunter 6. he deserves some love

Seltas Queen, Qurupeco, Gigginox and Zamtrios are some of the Monsters I want to see the most in MH6.

The potential of Duramboros getting a vital role in one of the maps like Diablos did in the Wildspire is fascinating imo, Diablos basically forms the wildspire waste as we know it, due to its digging it fundamentally changes the environment. I could immagine Duramboros having a similar role in a lush jungle environment...

Rise had some neat add-ons; a new temnoceran, a new amphibian, an elder-level fanged wyvern, so on. The trend needs to be continued for the underrepresented clades, ranging from neopterans to snake wyverns. We've seen how 5th Gen blessed the fanged wyverns with a variety of monsters beyond just Zinogre and dragon-Zinogre and tougher-Zinogre. Give the underdogs more rep and ease off the elder dragon throttle for a time.

I noticed throughout the proob series cotton tends to lean towards blunt force trauma as his damage of choice. Duramboros being his favorite monster makes a lot of sense.

Gammoth needs to come back so we can have the fated four all back

I really hope that mh6 adds more monsters that are Neopteron, Temnoceran, Snake Wyvern and Amphibian. I don't really want Tigrex, Nargacuga, Zinogre and other regulars to return. I want to see Gigginox, Duramboros, Monoblos and Najarala in 6 as they help to make the roster more unique and stand out. I do want Lagiacrus in MH6 he is one of my favourite monsters and probably one of the top 10 favourite monsters in most of the community.

Yo what about some love for Agnaktor! And their sub glacial! That one is so dang cool diving into lava making it scales soft then watching them harden it a monster that forced me to learn a monster’s quirk aside from just attacks!

Man Dalamadur would be such an EPIC fight in new gen, it would be insane! Aside from that I pretty much agree with you 5 choices while adding maybe giginox and qurupeco

For real, I agree with all of your picks! Especially with Nagarala and Malfestio! I still think it was a missed opportunity not to put him in Sunbreak as his Jester kind of looks would fit so well with the medieval theme.

I really want to experience underwater combat again, I feel like now they have resoruces to make it better than in gen 3, all water monsters like lagiacrus and ceadeus are long overdue for a return, but there is a potential for many new water monsters and I would really enjoy to see that. Other monsters I would love to see back are odogaron, brachydios and all brute wyverns since they are my faveourite class of monsters to hunt.

I started playing Monster Hunter with World, so I don't have any experience with the older games. But if I had to pick a few from World that I absolutely want to come back, I'd have to pick Vaal Hazak, Odogaron, and Nergigante.

I honestly hope they bring back a TON of GEN 3 beasts! I honestly miss CEADEUS And LAGIACRUS. Oh! THE MORAN WHALES AS WELL!!

I genuinely do hope we eventually get a modernized version of Seltas queen. I really enjoy that fight, and also fighting her almost feels like fighting some kind of war machine with the noises and charges she does.

Not only would I want lagiacris to have the most explosive comeback, but I wanna see underwater combat and exploration become a main mechanic for any future mainline games. I can already see more leviathans and snake wyverns (inspired by sea snakes and eels), maybe add more sharks like zamtreos into the roster. Hell, I can even see kraken class monsters in the reefs and the dark abyss. We've already explored enough of the land, so why not go to the seas and watch titans battle in the depths.

I want MH6 to have more monsters from the spin-off games. Now that Espinas has opened Pandora's box for Frontier, I want to see some stuff from MH Online as well.

I hope we get a good mix of, new/old returning monsters in 6. Like half new monsters and half old returning ones. Plus dlc which would add more. I really want to fight narsclya again, and I would love to see legiachris. And if we get Legiachris, then we have to get ceadeus. I would love to fight those three again. And new snake monster would be awesome. I apologize for my spelling, I know I spelled them all wrong. Such cool names but so hard to spell. At least for me.

Surprised not to see Nibbelsnarf on these lists. Playing mhgu for the first time and he feels pretty unique to me. My hope is for radobaan, but he felt unique to his environs. Also, I know they're technically different types, but not sure how najarala is modally different from almadron or leviathans.

Neopterons and the snakes really do need to come back. Honestly the things you could do with insects as they are already diversified would be amazing!

While I agree with all of these (except Lagiacrus because I still feel he needs underwater combat) I think Gammoth is also one that deserves to come back but with the added moves in her concept art (ice armor and ice covered tusk, standing on her hind legs and shooting out snow balls, sucking palicoes and small monsters into her trunk and firing them at you, etc.). Glavenus got IceBorne, Mizutsune got Rise, Astalos got SunBreak, MH6 belongs to the almighty Popodrome

I think locales should always be considered first before the monsters. We need to have brand new types of environments for the series One idea would be an vibrant enchanted forest. That is, similar to the Forest and Hills from Monster Hunter 1 but with a more high fantasy feel to it, like something out of a J R.R Tolkien novel I guess if any monster needs to make a return is Monoblos. Diablos needs a break from the series and let the one horned boy come back for one game. I think if any of the long absence monsters don't return in MH 6 and 6 Ultimate then I think their time in the franchise is up.

Malfestio was a serious favorite of mine in generations, i like the design and the armor you get from it. one of my friends hated fighting it because of the confusion but after a few fights i was able to adapt to it.

Out of all Monsters, one I've wanted to face since learning about the ones outside of the 5th gen is Monoblos. Done us dirty in Sunbreak with Deimyo having the skull of one and not having it in game. Pulling Gravios in due to Shogun. SO many stuck in old gen that deserve to come up. I'm going to say it: Plesioth should return to annoy newer Hunters!

lagiacrus, dalamudur, seltas/queen, dire moralis (the only black dragon to not come with the other two of altraeon and fatalis), banbaro(i like his armor more than anything), zamtrios, agnkator, tetsucabra,malefesto (i love owls ) duramboros, kirin (i know it was in world but i find it to be a rather interesting creature) amatsu, and finally gogmazios (they could finally do him justice given the sheer bulk and awesomeness of gaismagorm whos relatively similar in scale)

If sunbreak dosnt add gogmazios then I know mh6 will, also dire miralis should be mh6 Edit: check my new comment below

Gen 5 MH was a real boon for Fanged Wyverns and the Fanged Beasts have gotten new solid entries in Rise. I hope Gen 6 could do the same for Snake Wyverns and Amphibians. We got 15 new Fanged Wyverns in Gen 5 including the small monsters.

I hope Gen6 brings back the Dromes and revamps all of them. Also Hypno and Gigginox.

I definitely agree with most of these especially Najarala bc Lagiacrus would come too if they get the belly in ground down in 6th gen. And a new one would be dope yes. Seltas Queen is definitely super cool too and surprised me. Lagiacrus is my favorite so would love his fight as reimagined ivory basically

I too want more Snake Wyverns, to my knowledge we have two(I'm counting Dalamadur, since he has the same body plan, I know he's an Elder Dragon) with each having a sub-species/variant/deviant/etc.

#RagingGamingVideos, Akantor and Ukanlos are classed as ‘Flying Wyverns’ due to their literal flying ancestor(s). Respectively, Akantor and Ukanlos have stubs where the wings would have been. Their flying ancestors had wings, but between their ancestors and Akantor, Ukanlos. Each subsequent generation used their wings less than the previous one, but the ecologists can tell from several sources that they had ancestors with fully functional wings.

Some monster designs I definitely want to see are more herbivore like monsters like Oxen, Rhinos, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus and Turtles. I know people would say that those would be boring uninteresting fights but consider the fact that the horizon series literally did all of these and they’re all fantastic

Rise teased us with Tetsucabara, give us underbite frog back! Also want to see Lagiacrus, Najarala, Nibelsnarf and because I'm a pickle simp I'm always happ to see Devil Jho

I always have and always will root for Nibelsnarf to return. His visuals are unique, his fight has layers of unique mechanics to it with barrel bombs and the fishing rod, and his name is ridiculous. I also personally think we don't have enough "proper" desert monster representation in the new gen, being basically only Diablos.

Nergi will probably forever be one of if not my favorite elder dragon to face. Would love to see more fights in the future I would also love to see Najarala return

New MONSTER inspired creatures should be in MH6: 1. A decorator crab 2. An Electric Jumping Spider 3. Mantis shrimp 4. A better version of Bulldrome that looks like badass. 5. The only thing I care about for the next game is 1: it's available for xbox so I can play and 2: it has the catching endemic life from mhw. It'd be nice to have the living maps from mhw but as long as it has the first 2 I'd be happy

I really want to see Dalamadur again. I can only imagine how gorgeous he would look with World/Iceborne Graphics. I never really got to fight him but i really love his design.

My one monster I was missing was Astalos Yes I was happy with the reveal

On the topic of variety, while monster variety is important I think it's also important to do things other than monster hunting to break it up a bit. Something like capturing endemic life (though less rng dependent that worlds rare endemic life). With a game with followers from the base they could definitely do more character specific side stories which would be one thing, though probably not as laid back as capturing net.

All of these (including honorable mentions) are an absolute yes please. I would add the following: Agnaktor (shame that uroktors are in Rise, but the adult one isnt) Gammoth (the only fated 4 monster not in 5th gen) Nibelsnarf (quirky silly monster, i just like saying the name mostly)

I'm still upset about Agnaktor and Zamtrios getting shafted in Rise when their children were small enemies.

As a Fiver, I’ve played World, Rise, and a little bit of GU. I’d like to see Zamtrios, Malfestio, nibblesnarf, a new snake, and new crab.

They should put in all the monsters from all the various monster hunter games(most of all Frontier since there’s only been like 5 monsters from the frontier mmo that actually appear in the mainline games), then they could make monster hunter 6 a massive game that incorporated all the monsters(and they’re associated armor/weapons) and they could also update all the older locations as well

I think the snake wyverns probably have the same inverse kinematics issue as lagi since they similarly drag thier bodies a lot closer to the ground. Though if they get lagi to work then it's possible they could use the same solution for the snakes.

Basically any siege monster revamp would be incredible. But imagine a lao shan and shen gaoren fight actually being fun.

I have to be honest here but I would love to see another Behemoth take the field. Epic fight for an even more epic monster. I also heart a few others I hope we see more of: Glavenus, Odogaron, Fatalis and not to mention Alatreon!

I want monster hunter 6 to be monster hunter world 2 and have every monster like there's the starter island then can travel to other islands with different monsters until we have all of them in 1 game

These were the ones that stuck in my mind as well and are all awesome choices. Iwould also have loved to see them do more with Dalamadur, that thing was cool as shit and quite the spectacle, the nibelsnarf was always a pretty unique fight, would like to see brachydios, nergigante and glavenus as staples going forward as well 🙂

I'm a sucker for electric monsters AND for snakes in in general, so an electric snake monster would become pretty much instantly one of my favorite monster !

To be completely honest, I haven't played that many Monster Hunter games. I am no veteran in this community. Nonetheless I've still played a good few games, albeit two being the Monster Hunter Stories series but they still taught me some of the monsters I know now. I may not be very far into MHGU, and have yet to even play Sunbreak for myself, I still have an opinion to give on what I'd like to see return. Najarala absolutely being one of those monsters, we haven't seen a snake wyvern for awhile. If I had more say in it I'd really like to see a whole new snake wyvern, and the return of aquatic combat. Lagiacrus is a signature monster that should return, especially if we do get aquatic combat. Even if they aren't very loved a return for.. Golbul, I think that's the name, would honestly be really nice to see again. Ceadeus could also be a pretty cool return, and who knows maybe we'd even get to see Dire Miralis! Just because it does bother me a little, a subspecies return I'd like to see has to be Jade Barroth. Considering I've seen it in the Stories games it honestly made me a bit upset that it didn't get a return in Rise whatsoever, it's a really cool subspecies to me- Then again I have a thing for shiny or blue monsters. Rise's apex aspect really didn't make me happy, rather just annoyed me because a lot of the apexes are just discounted variants in my eyes. Malfestio and maybe it's variant, at least I think it was a variant, would be neat to see return as the only actual BIRD wyvern. Out of the brute wyverns that should return, and despite my relatable love for Brachydios, Duramboros deserves to return as it really is one of the best and unique brute wyverns we've gotten. I'd like to see Narkarkos come back too honestly, very cool funny mass murderer bone wearing octopus thingy. Gigginox would also be nice to see, they already did Khezu so may as well do the other cave demon. Seltas and Seltas Queen, PLEASE, I'd absolutely play if they were to make a return. They're one of my favorite monsters, even if I haven't gotten to fight them the combination of combat the two make is absolutely beautiful. Fighting two monsters who are working together, although one not entirely willing, is honestly a concept that we haven't seen all that much of. Hm, what else am I miss- OH, Zamtrios! Zamtrios deserves a return, it annoyed me so unreasonably bad that they gave us Zamites in Rise but not the big boi shark balloon. I need to fight the signature shark balloon at least once in my lifetime, and not in the Stories games! I think I've actually listed everything I wanted. As cool as Dalamadur would be I don't find him that necessary, but it would be neat to see his return. I can't help but wonder what new monster's we'll get to see. If we really get an aquatic combat return after all this time I'll be so, so happy. It was upsetting hearing that it was meant to happen in MHW:I but hearing due to development struggles it just became impossible at the time. Honestly an Amphiptere monster would be pretty cool to see, but perhaps I can wish for that in a much further future. Snakes aren't too easy to animate, considering both our snake wyverns still have legs it kinda goes to show. Although with them being older monsters... Maybe, just maybe we'll get to see a REAL snake monster one day. This was long. Very, very long. As a monster hunter fan however it feels worthwhile to actually get my thoughts out there more, otherwise I'd be talking to myself out loud or annoying a friend with my ramblings. I may have started with MHW (Which I actually almost never went back to, but damn am I glad I did!), but the journey was worth it. I've played through the entirety of World and Iceborne, several times in fact. I cherish the memories of playing through the first MHS game mostly blind aside from bits of the game I had seen from this channel, which was the reason I had actually gotten the game in the first place. Playing Rise still feels a bit disappointing to me, and while I may still get Sunbreak one day it almost feels as if my opinion will not shift on Rise being rather disappointing. MHGU I feel is still better than Rise, despite having relatively worse graphics it doesn't feel as lifeless as Rise. MHS:Wings of Ruin I will never forget, I am so damn happy they made a sequel, far into the future or not that game made me so happy and I am so grateful that the only new monster's they made for those games were only ever the end bosses. I enjoyed the fights so much, and getting to strategize for every important fight made me feel amazing when the plans worked. Even Fatalis didn't stand a chance against my strategies! Okay, okay... I'll end my comment here, I've talked so much already. For those that actually made it to the end, you must have a lot of time on your hands to read this many words. I hope they add more Snake Wyverns. It's kinda sad how it looks like it was a classification unique to Najarala. But no, they are gonna add nearly all most famous monsters even though has no sense ecologically, like 5 new Flying Wyverns, as well its subespecies, and a new variant of the Raths, because like the Sharingan needs even MORE powers, we obviously need even MORE Flying Wyverns. It think MH devs have a fetish with winged creatures...

With the water mechanic coming back if it does opens up so many favorites

I would love to fight more of these monsters in a newer game, especially if can make cotten echo scream more. Plus I've been listening to the battle themes of some and would love to hear some better audio versions as a bonus.

That is the exact list I have been saying should return (plus Tetsucabra). They were all fun/unique fights that I think would benefit from the fluid combat of 5th gen.

For returning monsters I want all the crab/bug/arachnid monsters to return and get new entries. For new monsters I want every classification that doesn't have one to get an ED level base species monster. Not just a rare/subspecies/variant/deviant entry.

I would like to see another attempt of some of the more stale fights in older games. Like retrying Lao Shun, or anything else that was as stale as Zorah, giving another go at trying to make those fights more interesting.

i want najarala in 6 partially because i just like najarala but mostly because i would absolutely adore dalamadur making a returning appearance on modern systems and i believe najarala marks the return of dalamadur. i want to see him in all his beauty and fight him in all his splendor in modern day monster hunter. i hope this happens in 6 but i dont have my hopes up. then again i wasnt expecting amatsu to make an appearance in modern games either but narhwa and ibushi sorta sparked amatsus return last year as much as capcom tried to deny it or ignore the theories on it it was sorta inevitable once you saw how narhwa and amatsu fought and behaved so im calling it now if najarala makes a reappearance in 6 then dalamadur is also making a reappearance.

With lagiacrus being my favorite monster I want him back so bad but at the same time I would rather Capcom bringing him back with underwater combat (with some very needed improvements) because in my opinion his fight just has almost no soul to me as it did when I first fought him in 3U. He was genuinely terrifying underwater and with him being only on land would just be such a shame. If they do decide to bring him back without water I’d be fine with it but I feel it wouldn’t be the experience we need when it comes to THE LORD OF THE SEA!!!

When we getting Bulldrome back, though? Do hope Nergigante and Odogeron are kept on from World. Both had such awesome personalities and unique fights. If I had to (genuinely) pick from older generations, I agree that Zamtrios and Seltas Queen could look really beautiful in next gen/

Nah forget reworking Lagiacrus so he works on land, just give us underwater back please. I never personally had any trouble with the controls but I know a lot of people did and that could be easily remedied, MH is missing out big time by not having underwater it adds a level of variety to both the combat and monster designs.

When it comes to Elder Dragons, I would definitely like a chance to fight a Dalamadur in a modern game Otherwise I'd have to say 5. Dodogama. 4. Gamoth 3. Monoblos 2. Tetsukabra 1. Poborubarumu

Gimme Lao Shan Lung in MH6

If wild hearts showed me one big thing, its that new monsters are fun to fight. If I fight the same roster again, or at least core roster, I am going to be bored a lot faster now. I have been playing since 3U and even with the changes to rathian and the like, I simply want new experiences at this point. Lagi is welcome to the party given his limited release as well as najarala. Nerg is a tough once since its my favorite fight of all but I dont want him in all of the games in the future. Also agree with malfestio, he is pretty neat.

Agnaktor with the click clacks! Come on, we got his small monster adolescent form in Rise! And reworked siege monsters, perhaps fought more normally? Shen Gaoren, Lao Shan Lung anyone? The weapon designs were sick. Also, a heavily reworked Monoblos would be cool. Skip a gen of Diablos, give us Monoblos! Blangonga fights way different than Rajang, so he should be added. Congalala was boring back in the day, and Pukei seems to borrow most of his mechanics in a better way. Shah Dalamadur was cool, but a bit of a canned fight, a rework could be cool, seeing several Dalamadur skeletons in the Rotten Vale gave me hope!

Maybe I'm just a 4u fanboy but a lot of monsters in that game end up being my favorite returning monsters. Seregios and Nerscylla are my favorite monsters that I always hope come back (poor Nerscylla ;n; ). Would also be cool to see Tetsucabra and Zamtrios come back since those were relatively fun beginner fights. As for Elder Dragons, I would love to see the Amatsu and Gogmazios fights with new gen mechanics!
