Hearing "Proof Of A Hero" is instant hype fuel. One of the most epic and recognizable theme songs for any video game franchise IMHO.

Can't stop watching. It's everything I love about World and Generations melded together, with hunting dogs and chain weapons and ninja flips. And Nerscylla's back. I have absolute faith that this is going to by my new favourite game in the series.

This has the shot of innovation classic MonHun has been needing for a while while staying true to the classics. Thank God for the less realistic armor and weapons coming back

This supposedly runs on a modified version of the RE Engine, & it looks great.

As a World player, kinda sad this game is only available on the Switch. However, I am still happy they are returning the QoL updates as well as experimenting with new tools in a portable Switch version. Also, Magnamalo looks sick.

Monster Hunter was always a portable and home console release game I knew it would make it back eventually the pattern had been there for years. I've been hunting since Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and I can't be more excited for this game. Happy hunting!

Oh my god it's so weird hearing them(the hunters) talk. But it's at least a step forward from grunting.

As a MH fan, this made me smile 😊 Played FU, portable3rd on the PSP and 4U and XX on the 3DS. When he said "This is for my fellow hunters" it made me proud.. I think that flagship monster killed many hunters on that rampage thing they said on this game. Alright fellow hunters! Time to move at Kamura Village! ❤️

The theme for this one is looking nice. Looks just straight up fun.

I have never owned a Nintendo, the games never spoke to me been squarely in the PlayStation corner. But then I clocked 1500hrs and counting in MHW. So I guess you just won yourself a new fan, will be getting a lite to play monster hunter everywhere.

For the people complaining about how it looks. 1. It's in development, so graphical quality is subject to change. 2. It's better than MH GenU, get your heads out of the dirt, it's what you'd expect what a MH built for the switch would be like, a game that trades LoD in Textures and Clutter in order to achieve the high model and world scale of MHW. 3. If Nintendo is going to make a Switch Pro, they likely will release it alongside this game (March 26 is within margin for the Switch's Anniversary, and also wouldn't be the first time Nintendo used a MH game to market a Upgraded system (MH4U with the New 3DS)). 4. The gameplay looks sick and honestly I like the return to the more anime-eqsue artsyle with the simpler character skin textures, it gives Rise it's own identity VS World while also helping it run better. 5. Saying "But X Game did this on switch" isn't considering us not knowing the engine they are using for MH: Rise, and not knowing how it scales to Switch. We don't know if it's the RE Engine (Likely using tools to port over stuff from the MT-Framework based MHW), a weeded back MHW MT-Framework, or even a upgraded MH Gen-U MT-F Portable.

I trully, trully hope that given the new bug and clearly aerial improvement combat style they add or bake some of the "aerial" hunting style on to all weapons, there where some neat things they could do with that, wich brings me to the next, i hope they bring back hunting styles, perhaps not as in picking out one but instead baking the ones that work the best for each weapon, as much as i loved the styles they also sometimes feelt way to gimmicky, they where cool but clearly some were just "to" good in comparison to others, im also hoping some of the old hunting arts make it back as bar/charge/timed powers (like the wyvern fire or spirit slash)

When you have a PC capable of running World at all its glory and a Switch. Life is good.

Well ive never owned a switch but after playing monster hunter world anx iceborne expansion and putting 700,000 hours into that game, and now seeing this trailer looks like ill be getting a swtich soon

Really hope you can aim the bow types like you could in Monster Hunter World.

I don't know how Capcom keeps on managing to make Monster Hunter's newer vertical elements even better but they manage it every time.

I’ve watched this 10 time and still can’t get tired of this.

So a few things to point out, at 2:01 it looks like the character is using the sword and shield, which might mean the sword and shield has a few moves specific to that wire bug. When the characters leap off the cliff, presumably to chase a monster, they use the wire bug multiple times, so either it's based on stamina or can only be used a set number of times before it has to recharge.

Now I need to know the wire bug combo with the hunting horn!

*classic art style of the series* *no "muh pretty visual stuff" cluttering the maps* *clutch claw for movility but seemingly less combat broken* *finally canine companions* *overall feels like the 3rd gen but with verticality rather than underwater* Nintendo MH is back and improving, fellas

MH is really special to me, my sister, my boyfriend and our close friends in the office. We all started with the older games. We're super pumped for this. I've been wanting a portable, modern Japanese-themed MH with doggos in them and what we got was so much more. Thank you so much, Nintendo and Capcom. We can't wait for March!
