I feel like we’re gonna finally get some really interesting world lore in this universe. Between the “demon of the abyss” comment and the Knights in Malzeno’s clips, I feel like we’re going to explore a little more of the society and people of the world. Cannot wait.

I joined Monster Hunter with World. Delved deep into the lore and picked out which monsters I wanted to fight the most. Thus far, only 2 have escaped me, and now, with Sunbreak, I can finish my list. Gore and Shagaru, I'm coming for you!!

17 not counting title updates Unlike iceborne however, the monsters previously in the game are getting g rank versions except for the apexes.

Monster Hunter titles typically get a G-Rank/Master-Rank expansion that's roughly the size of the base game, followed by additional free postgame updates/dlc afterwards before moving onto the next game in the series. Sunbreak is the expansion for Rise, just like Iceborne was the expansion for World

Not happening. 1. It's indigenous to a very specific locale in the new world. 2. It's an early mid game monster, thus would be a waste of a slot as free update DLC monster.
