lol lots of players just do coop and have several high level players come and trash their quest in 5 minutes. And the ones that don't are skilled enough to not get carted too much.

I mean... monster hunter is like the only game series to do games as a service right. The game releases complete, and when the services end, and when they do, they leave behind a fully functional and amazing game (look at world) to work on a new better game. I will admit the rise updates with the crafting updates and new decorations that make old decorations less viable was a bit more than I would have liked, but overall I am sad they are ending development on this game.

Absolute credit where it is due - Rise is a game where we really could tell that the developers listened to feedback. Thank you for all the updates. By far my favourite of the series so far. The cameos, introduction of unique features, the ability to fight with responsiveness and flare like never before. As well as recognising moves from Generations which I never expected to see again (albeit under new names). I'm sad the updates are ending but understand they have to. But there's still lots to do regardless. Thank you for a passion and pride so strong it shines through in every aspect of the game.

Rise was my first Monster Hunter game, and I'm glad that it was; this has been a fantastic game from start to finish and the hunts have been great. Rampages in the base game were fantastic, and, since I mainly play single-player, followers were a great addition that helped me keep up with Sunbreak as a newcomer while keeping it challenging.

I've been a fan on Monster Hunter since 3 Ultimate on the 3DS and I am sure it will stay that way for awhile now. I made so many good memories with my friends playing Rise that I can't help but look back and smile with my time playing this game. Even with the several problems that MH Rise and Sunbreak had, I still love this game to the bottom of my heart. I'm new to MH, started on 5th generation, but the series grabbed me like no other. As someone who started with World aka. 5th Fleet, aka 5th Gen. It was a nice time. Started with great graphics, great immersive feeling and oh lord, even greater events in World. And after that some more unique monster to battle, with new cool moves and some (for me) great story in Rise. I am hyped for what comes in sixth Gen, in the next big MH Game and I personally hope it will be the best from the last two big mh games. Big monster roster with lots of unique creatures, unique weapon and armor designs, immersive and detailed maps and 16 player lobbies again with hopefully big events and collabs again. And please god, bring back the gigantic room customization from world/iceborne. Its not something we need, but I would die for. It was just a chill feature for between the hunts and to relax with your friends. And plus.. you guys can make a lot of money with it lol (love to support you this way tho)

if you havent already id recommend going back to the old titles and check them out. Whatever you do don't start with GU, start with 4U, or if you're a sadist then go back even further

@@tofuteh2348 uhm, i bought mhgu last year and played it a bit. why shouldnt i start with it? older titles would have even clunkier gameplay - which would make them a lil bit more annoying to get into, imo i could play 4U with emulator but i dont know if its worth it. i feel like it would stress me out, to grind through an old game which has clunky movement. not that i hate old mh games, but old games in general feel often so clunky and "messy" that its hard to have fun with them

@@tikurai4970Nothing wrong with MHGU. It’s just that it’s a celebration title so wacky and fun. I’d say far from the hunting experience and more of an action game akin to rise. Older titles test your knowledge acquisition more than newer titles. All of them have their quirks and I can play any of them again.

@@tikurai4970 4U isnt that clunky. I went World > GU > Rise > 4U and just mix-match between the games while playing them. I havent gotten through HR in 4U yet and I'm already trying out Frontier. Play GU if you like it, going back to 4U won't feel that different. You'll just miss some extra features. 4U is like World in the grand sense, it has a purpose and a story (however nonsensical) to tell you.

@@tikurai4970 My biggest issue with recommending GU to newcomers is that its basically a content compilation game, so all the flagships and maps are just thrown in there without much care. Imagine fighting nergigante for the first time without any intro cutscenes or even any story or context- thats how GU treats most of its monsters. As for the clunky comment, keep in mind that many people say that when they first start MH. Hell, you probably felt that way or heard other newbies complain about MHW and how 'clunky' it feels. It's the same with 4U- you'll get used to it and maybe even like it.

Here’s a theory before the monster is released: maybe the shrine in the castle area, which had some of the anomaly on it, is where the new malzeno lost or gained it’s powers

Lance = Best weapon. Yeah it wasn't anywhere near as flashy as the rest of the weapons and we didn't have much overpowered silkbinds or really useful ones but it was the only weapon that relied on and utilized it's entire base kit without the Rise/Sunbreak additions to be excellent :D

Anchor rage is really really good, and so is sheathing retreat, super useful both as a escape option and a gap closer. Besides that, not much else. Twin vines feels super clunky to use, zooming around with spiral thrust was eh (now there's no point in using that since a normal lance combo outclasses it) and skyward thrust is very situational.

@@Beltorchika12 Anchor Rage is by far the most useful but it's very simple as it's just a counter/buff no flash. Basically a silkbind that is useful all the time would be considered the best ones so sheathing retreat and Anchor Rage are the best picks. Spiral Thrust is still a good burst movement option but yeah it's lackluster now. I still heavily dislike skyward thrust. Too much lag, unreliable damage and only situationally useful to begin with. Once Embolden graced the armor skills twin vine became useless for sure. I do wish Lance got a little more flash or utility within its wirebug kit but it still remains one of the most true to form weapons within the Sunbreak Roster. It thrives on elemental and status which is my favorite way to play.

They mentioned event quests and showed Velkh in forlorn arena so maybe we'll get Hazard Velkhana.

@@shrooberto Im disappointed they didn't seem to give the remaining monsters an afflicted version like gold/silver Rathian Rathalos, lucent Narga, violet Mitzu, Apex Monsters etc. Would've been very cool

@@ooperblownup Unfortunately, I don’t think they have afflicted variants for some reason. However, Apex monsters can appear as secondary monsters in anomaly investigations or special investigations

Rip to white espinas. I was hoping it would've returned since regular and brown (flaming) espinas are in sunbreak. It could've been awesome to have all 3 in the same game
