When I had to deal with that rage rayed diablos in the story when they took Ratha on the boat, I was getting frustrated. I was like, "I AM LITERALLY WASTING MY TIME WITH THIS RAGE RAYED DIABLOS! RATHA IS BEING TAKING AWAY BY THE HUNTERS, KYLE IS AN ASSHOLE FOR EVEN BELIEVING IN THOSE STUPID HUNTERS, MYSTERIOUS RIDERS ARE AFTER RATHA AND I'M ABOUT TO CRY! I JUST WANT MY BABY BACK!" I was very emotional with that situation.
I think the Rage rayed bosses would've been more challenging if they had the kinship charge negation mechanic from stories 1's blighted bosses. Would've also made an incentive to break the part holding the negation up.
@@DeltaDaspleto what i hated most about stories 1 was the gene system where you could only port genes into a monstie when the EXACT SAME SPOT was empty and no stacking genes
@@shinrok Even if that was annoying, I still think stories 1 is the superior game to 2. Simply because it has element change. Now we have all this perceived freedom with stacking genes and such but it's almost useless. I'll take the rigid mechanic back gladly if it means I can get my ice Brute Tigrex back.
