Ok capcom, you have it this time, you didn't give up with this spin off, the sequel was successful, you are remastering the first game and THERE WON'T BE A NEW POKEMON GAME THE WHOLE YEAR! make MHS3!
They temporarily made the First season of the Anime available and it was pretty good. Then some corporate bs happened and it was ripped away, with season 2 denied for localization for no good reason. Maybe actually let people watch it this time?? Something tells me they are only going to share a few episodes to advertise the game, then rip it all away again.
Capcom did the same with Mega Man NT Warrior, sadly. I was able to watch the first season, although the quality was not great. They should just remaster and release these cozy shows on blu-ray!
I remember during the time when Season 1 was airing in Japan, they announced they were making more episodes past the supposed 48 episode plan to coincide with an update to the game. I thought the dub stopped because they only planned to do the first 48 and that's it.
@@lonkfromcalifornia They dubbed the teasers for the upcoming season, but when it never showed up, I remembered looking up when it was coming and read it was canceled due to some rights conflict or other nonsense. Unless I am mistaken, you can't even stream season 1 in western territories any more. At least ... other than these few episodes now.
@@Vuldari interesting, I wasn't aware of this at the time. Since you brought up streaming, I remembered a YT channel that had the dubbed episodes with an original English opening, but I couldn't find it.
I'm commenting for reach- I want as many people as possible to watch this! I'm sure it's too "kiddy" for some people, but the character development and struggles throughout the series are very well done and it does eventually develop a more serious tone. This is my personal favorite series that I've ever seen. Please support this, maybe they'll make a season 3 that's set after Wings of Ruin, and that would be amazing!!!
I hope they do a 3rd one. Would love it if i could have different monster to start with instead of Ratholos but i understand hes literally the mascot of the series just want to see how the story would play out differently if we had like Barioth or Tigrex and a unique story about them thats all😊 i still cant wait to play it on ps5 loved it on switch now i can play it kn my console finally yay🤩👏
Maybe Pukei-Pukei? 😂 Or Rathian/Pink Rathian idk? I used Pukei-Pukei one my team in my main file and even used her[[headcanon as Pukei could be either lol]] on the final boss in Stories 2!

I see they used the subtitles to correct some things since Funimation got the monster names wrong for a couple of episodes. They used the directly translated names.
Me too! It was so fun and I was playing monster hunter stories at the same time. One day it just stop working though. Do you remember what the channel was called?
I’ve been waiting for a monster hunter anime series for so long 🤩 I had kinda hoped that the series would be something about the hunters guild, but it makes sense they’d go with monster hunter stories, as it’s more kid friendly, and is an easy story to translate into an anime.
My best friend and room mate gave me his copy of MH Stories, and I have yet to play it, but I'm thinking about booting it up in the near future to experience the original game before I get the remaster. I also watched this anime years ago, and fell in love with the characters. The story was amazing. I highly recommend MH fans to give this anime and the remake of the game a shot. RIDE ON!!
I forgot they get the English names of monsters wrong Edit: just learned it's the Japanese names of the monsters. Makes sense but still an interesting choice
@@memergas740 …. Yes… I know. You’re not very smart are you? The English names for monsters are the same. I’m complaining they didn’t say his proper name and gave him a crappy one. Please. I know your iq is below room temp but try to use some intelligence
PLEASE dub and release the rest of Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On to blu-ray, only 48 out of 75 of the episodes were released by FUNimation (now Crunchyroll) and it deserves a full english release!
Man I didn't expect them to sound completely different from the actual that's going to be released this year. I like it though, they need to go easy on the sugar though. Ha, ha, ha. 😅🐵🍿
If 3rd one is made, please also make riders and their monstie from Monster Hunter Rider to be part of the MHST please. I missed that game and hope to see more Riders to interact with the protagonist, they can act as "gym" leader and then companions while still retain monster boss as gatekeepers. It is awesome to see them in a new game
The name differences are throwing me off. The English dub reads the Japanese names but the subtitles are the English names. 😂 I’m not a fan of the animation direction they took with this anime. The monsters are all very obviously 3D and look very removed from their scenes. It’s make more sense to use more an anime style like the DBZ games have done to have the animation mesh together better. Or even how the movie Belle made use of their 3D animation yet pull off a 2D style. Other than that, I’m enjoying the series. I love how this anime is its own promotion for the remake of the game. I hope this anime is successful. ❤
The use of CGI is understandable because it's real pain to draw the monsters in 2D 6 or more times per second of animation. and that they didn't put much budget in it because they're not really into the anime industry, won't profit from it and Stories is a spinoff game. It's pretty good, but I'd say all CGI could work better if done correctly.
