Im just hoping for monster hunter hunts to go back feeling like a hunt instead of a boss rush, and for resources and preperation to matter again instead of having access to your item box in camp for whatever reason
Maybe it will, if u notice the mount, it has small pouches and a sleeping bag on the saddle. This might imply that those things are necessary... Or it could just be decoration
I am kind of hoping for more limited resources when out in the field because I really like the idea of scavenging for more healing items around the map, it would make armour skills like botany useful in normal hunts and it’s super fun for example when using mushroomancer in the guiding lands for example and being able to restock on what are effectively max potions in the volcanic region before following a raging brachy into its lair for the final fight.
it just amazes me how timeless this franchise feels, each game never disappoints, and my enticement is through the roof! I wish all the best for each of my fellow hunters on this new journey we'll take
This game is probably only nearing completion a couple months from now, so I imagine the graphics will look much better Even then imo I prefer how wilds looks to world or rise and honestly think it’s just an upgrade even if it’s a technical downgrade
I would much rather have graphics that aren't the highest fidelity but have a ton of immersive details (which the game is very likely to have, considering now detailed World is) I love how the graphics combine the grounded aesthetic of world with more of the saturated colors of the portable games (without being garish)
Interesting point of view. To me, graphics are important but I won’t care for them if it’s technical trash. Rise had bad graphics because of technical limitations and the game was extremely desaturated in color, but I still played it for the gameplay itself. World in my opinion was great in the graphics and the gameplay, though it felt very grounded and basic, but still like a breath of fresh air seen with new graphics of the monsters and realistic environments. Wilds here is going for a world-like approach with a living environment so it will probably be a technical upgrade from Rise and maybe World due to the new engine. As for you saying the game is nearing completion, that may be true seeing the quality of what was shown in trailer and also when we take into consideration that this game was basically in development since Rise launched. But, I doubt Capcom showing us 2025 as a release date isn’t just a big middle finger troll for all the MH fans and the actual release will be sooner. Could be possible (and I hope it is) but we don’t know the scope and depth of the games mechanics yet. If we’ll get an open world with THAT level of detail and World’s level of environmental complexity, then I think 2025 is a reasonable date. We also want a polished game with a finished story on launch, unlike some monster hunter games (looking at you Rise) so more post-story content can be added in title updates, instead of adding a finish to the storyline in an update or expansion. I feel like that will be the case after capcom received some backlash from rise not being complete
@@KsnypsAdventures from the way I see some things need to be polished but so far it looks very promising, also this game would probably not look this good had they JUST started production, usually mh games start production in at a similar time and release at separate times, world was released only just started production a year before rise, when iceborne finished wilds most like started
Game polish usually comes last in development and we’re more than a year out so I’m confident improvements will be substantial. That’s beside, I’m okay with the trade-off of more numerous and active wildlife on screen plus environmental effects in an open world for a slight visual downgrade. Wilds is taking the philosophy of World and taking it to new heights, which is what a large number of us wanted.
Given its size, it looks like the slinger will be a slingshot only and not have the clutch claw functionality that made it so controversial. And to that, I say, THANK GOG!
Well the slinger was just a slinger + grappling hook for traversal in base World. Clutch Claw was added in Iceborne. They might go a similar route here, with base Wilds having a slinger and the following expansion expanding on that.
@@gajspalt Tbf, what was the clutch claw if not just a grappling hook that attached to monsters lol. But yeah, I'm thinking it's going to just be a slingshot this time around while our new mount becomes our main asset for complex environmental traversal.
A truly open world monhun would be amazing. The graphics of World were already good and making a more interesting game experience is well worth not chasing graphical fidelity if that's the necessary tradeoff.
ya know i hope they make hunter food look delicious like they did in world and not silly balls of dango like in rise i want to feel hungry when i see a hunter scarf down food
Can you please make a video about how bad the implementation of the slick scales in PoT is? They implemented grab and pounce and at the same time introduced a hide that completely remove this new abilities☹️
