Ah. Another title to spend 700+ hours on like every other MH game I've played. Except FU. Spent 1500+ hours in that. I've played all the games and this is the one I've been the second most hype about. MH4U was still my most anticipated game, but hopefully this'll blow it out of the water. I expect great things out of this.

So from what I can see from the trailer. They have revealed the new desert esque area (kinda looks like the Gorge from Frontier, I wonder if it is a revamped version... I'm hoping so because the Gorge theme is one of my favourite themes). Apceros... Well I guess they do have to tie in the monster roster with a desert herbivore somehow I guess. Barroth... YES!!!!! Wasn't expecting Barroth to be one of the returning monsters but I'm glad it is. New Piscine Wyvern!!!!!!! REALLY long overdue since we had a Piscine Wyvern and it looks pretty friggin cool, It also looks as though it's not gonna be as annoying as Cephadrome or Plesioth which I absolutely adore since Piscine Wyverns typically had a bad rep because of those 2.(could see it briefly attacking Barroth which shows that it's probably a mid-game monster too). Dodo Bird Dog Wyvern!!!!! Can never say no to friggin dodo's, and it can apparently pick up rocks as it's gimmicks, presumably a 2 star fight alongside Great Jagras. New Bird Wyvern!!!! That tongue..... so damn large!!! It definitely takes Gypceros's concept of a cryptic, creepy bird wyvern and takes it to a whole other level. Those eyes too, reminds me of the Basilisk things from the Souls games. Diablos!!!!! .... Whelp, not surprised, Diablos has been with Rathalos and Rathian in appearing in every single game and I guess they couldn't think of a different higher tier desert monster so I guess why not. Just hoping he's not as annoying as he is in the previous generations. Day, Dusk, Night cycles!!!! I noticed in the Anjanath and Rathalos hunts that the Anicent Forest was at dusk and at night, multiple times to hunt in a quest? And perhaps it in a cycle throughout the hunt? Frontier had it so I imagine it's the same for this. Final reveal volcanic monster!!!! Either the Flagship monster or the low rank or high rank final boss, looks to have abiorugu's head kinda, I'm assuming either a titanic brute wyvern that resembles Godzilla or a giant volcanic snapping turtle from hell. You can give sausages to your cat!!!!! EPIC!!!!!!!

Monster Hunter is just one of those game series that's almost impossible to hate on. Always such great work.

Don't care what anyone says, this is gonna be one of the good ones. They are really making a good change here and that's just what we need. They are doing what is necessary to better the franchise and keep us interested and all you haters who say "this is not real monster hunter", you're wrong. This is very much monster hunter. It says it on the title and probably will on the game copy too ;) we just need to wait. We shouldn't fight about this anymore. We shouldn't divide ourselves as a community because this is different. We need to give it a chance.

I have never been so hyped for a game! And thank god that is on PC too! Also these are i think all the returning monsters so far : Rathalos , Aptonoth , Apceros , Barroth , Diablos , probably Rathian too.... I would pls like Zinogre , Tigrex , Uragaan , Deviljho , Seregios , Lagiacrus , Nargacuga etc..... And thats not including all the elder dragons.

As someone who hasn't played a Monster Hunter game before, but is looking at this game to be my introduction, Is there anything I should know about the world or such beforehand?

This was a perfect trailer for what will be one of the best games of the next year... if only Capcom will decide to localise XX, in 2018 MH will rule the game devices.

Okay. For y'all that are complaining or insulting on both sides. Edit: I'm buying a PS4 for MHW. I'm a person who finds all platforms to be master race. 1. True Monster Hunter Fans shouldn't give a shit about the Console the Games are on. STFU and Play some Monster Hunter. 2. Thanks to NINTENDO'S Efforts, Monster Hunter became more popular. 3. No ones had anyone on some god damn leash. Capcom made their decision to have it on Nintendo consoles because of the rising factor and excitement with Nintendo consoles. On top of that they wanted to have monster hunter on a system that everyone had been buying that was mobile. 4. Finally, Honestly? They should Rev up Monster Hunter XX, give it some more story, allow us to transfer all our armor, weapons, and Items, and have it be on all consoles with a good art style that all consoles can handle.
