Monster Hunter World: Xeno Jiiva Lore (Xeno'Jiiva MHW) 

This is basically the mh version of "you look at him and tell me if theres a god"

Well for every deviljho and bazelgeuse there is atleast 10 Monster Hunters that far surpass them in destruction and unbalance. I can arena fight or wild fight 3 tempered Jhos or bazel and come out on top. The new world mechanics make it possible and there is so much resources for hunters to completely clear out all the mega fawna and flora. Hunters are clearly the apex predators. That far surpasses any top elder dragon. EDs may have the powers to influence nature it self but let's be real Hunters do too, we command powers and forces beyond the control of nature. We are devastation and extinction.

That's basically my take on it. The Elder Dragons got together to figure out how to handle the Ancient Civilization. Their plan was to go and die in the New World (The only place the AC never went to, so safe from interference.) The idea was to pile up the energy and make a weapon as powerful to them as they were to the AC, presumably as a form of MAD. Don't go to war with us or we drop Xeno on you. Their population was 'as common as Raths back then' so this was pretty feasible. However, the war kicked off far sooner than expected (thanks Fatalis) and so few of them knew about it that only the basic idea of 'go here to die' really stuck around in the aftermath. So what's with Nergigante? Well Nergigante is biologically immortal (Spikes that regen ex-nihlo after it's death and removal from it's corpse!) and monitors the Elder Crossing. During the events of World, it was faced with a problem: Xeno is gonna wake up and we don't NEED it. So the solution was simple: Blow it up before it hatches. Zora dying in the everstream would destroy the new world, scorching the land. And aborting Xeno'Jiiva. When the research commission tries to trap Zora, Nergigante intervenes. When they try to divert it, Nergigante intervenes again, failing both times. Now Nergigante heads to the elders recess, to block the route to Xeno's egg. Pushing the other elder dragons out will slow Xeno's growth, push back the commission (hopefully and that failed now didn't it?) and potentially let Nergigante feed enough to have a chance to take out Xeno when it hatches. So when Nergigante fights you to the death, it's doing that under two bits of logic: "Don't let a human get near Xeno and wake it up." "If they can kill me, then maybe they CAN stop Xeno." Nergigante doesn't have a real backup plan once Zora failed and presumably has been working that long game for everyone's sake. Xeno'Jiiva waking up now would be unstoppable and would likely do what DevilJho wants to: Extinction the planet by eating it all. I think the Admiral knows about this, (I'm betting our mysterious scholar friend told him) given his first reaction on Xeno showing up is to order you to kill it instantly. That's my theory anyhow.

It's a threat to the ecosystem. The whole point of Monster Hunter is to be in balance with nature. Part of that means putting down monsters that travel outside their natural habitat, or culling them when there's too many in one area, or putting down exceptionally dangerous monsters that cause catastrophe wherever they go regardless of intent.

I've only played through low-rank so far but what you say here seems to fit really well with the behaviour of Nergigante during the story. Nergigante isn't living on Zorah, it's more like an escort. Every time you try and slow down or stop Zorah, Nergigante swoops in and tries to keep things going - even going as far as trying to redirect Zorah from the vale, to the everstream. And we are told in no uncertain terms that Zorah, if it died in the everstream, would pretty much destroy the new world in it's entirety. What if that was the idea. destroy the whole place to take down Xeno.

Rain of Blaze humans used to be worse in ancient times, where they literally inslaved dragons and also killed many of them in order to build man made dragons that were living super weapons. The dragons eventually had enough and fought back inciting a war that basically destroyed the ancients. In modern times, humans take a much more eco friendly approach to how they deal with monsters, only problem mons are killed/caped and they are punished for over hunting "poaching" by the guild. (the farming we do in game isn't canon because in reality a single monster can make a full set and wep) Elder dragons are known for the negative effects they have on the environment such as causing natural disasters which is why the guild watchs them closely. Basically saying that the hunters and humans in general are bad is unfair because as living beings, they aren't just gonna sit there and let the monsters drive them to extinction but they have been taught by the wyveriens how to better respect nature and not repeat the evil ways of the past. Their is alot more if u read up on it but thats the gist of it.

(i think the commander says this at the start of the game if not idk where i got this from then but i know i got it from somewhere in the game or its lore) At the start of the game the commander says that the commission is now turning from its old ways of hunting monsters to extinction to trying to understand them and what they do and or capture the ones that now cross there boundaries

Voidgamer290 unfortunately if Alatreon gets added to world it'll be the MHGen incarnation, who was toned down significantly compared to his insane MH3U version (who had such high DPS and HP that you needed G-Rank gear to beat him in high rank, and at G-Rank; good luck.)

Well at least we can hope for at least some changes with him. World has done so well with the other monsters and if they continue on this path i can only see good things. I guess we'll just have to see how fighting Deviljho feels to really try and gauge what they'll do with the other monsters.

ZerkMonsterHunter 4 that or it was supposed to fight them, causing the world to fall apart since two of them were basically said to be the cause of the end of the world, and after fighting them end up dying and spreading the bio energy it had world wide

That's what I believe! I think Xeno'jiiva is the "King Ghidorah" of the MHW verse. An alien that's too strong for the world, and so Zorah Magdaros was set to nuke it and reset the entire continent before we drove him away

Xeno’Jiiva was an anomaly, an unnatural entity born of an unnatural origin. It essentially syphoned the bioenergy from elder dragons to power itself. I feel that although the intent of Xeno’Jiiva was pure, the means it took to obtain its power were tainted. Also destroying the whole world is a bit extreme, I don’t think anybody (man or monster) would willingly allow that to happen by the hands of a creature they don’t understand.

Sure we know it’s capable of destroying the new world with its bio energy but what if Xeno would absorb it once Zora reached Xeno? What if nirgigante was killing elder dragons so their bio energy would seep into Xeno faster than if they died? Maybe they were both trying to help? I like this idea but I could be wrong. Or Zorah and Nirgigante might both be trying to stop it maybe? We don’t know yet do we?

Maybe the case was that Zora wasnt trying to stop it, but in fact it just wanted to die, as it was supposed to be the next meal for Xeno. Nergi on the other hand, probably didnt bother trying to stop it possibly because either it didnt know, or seeing as it feeds on other elder dragons, it was being kept well fed all this time, acting on its natural insticint to feed

Gentlemen Gamer Well sure it is different from the other, but I'm not too sure to put it in the same group of Fatalis without other proof. I mean sure one of Xeno's ancestor was one of the 5 original dragons. The question is... Who are the other 4? White Fatalis may be one if them due to its nickname "Father of all dragons" and the fact it is one of the "Origin Dragons". Dire Miralis can be another one due to its immortality and the fact it was called "Origin Dragon".

Alatreon is viewed in similar strength and intensity as Fatalis. Its viewed as almost an embodiment of natures wrath and chaos, given that it posses traits from many elder dragons, and is so elementally unstable, that it doesn't just control the weather, just the changes in its mood can shift it in unnatural ways. In one of its past quests, the quest title was quite literally named, Where Gods Fear To Tread.

Nergigante I think, the sapphire star is xeno jiva, the dragon that create/shape mountains is dalamadur and the dragon that sank to the sea and create the land is zorah, but i dont know the other two dragons that mentioned in the tale of the five

There could be another xeno, from what the huntsman said it took 40 years or so to 'figure out the mystery of the elder crossing' (this was after the final zora battle) this only happened because the 5th fleet was there, imagine all the other things that have gone undiscovered, for all anyone could know their might be multiple different elder crossings at different parts of the world where more xeno's could be incubating

Yea and we fight it again in G-rank. Can explain the dlc of monsters being added in, and maybe add a story tht the deaths of monsters......and elders are on the rise. And is happening on the otherside of the new world, farther North. (if u look at the map in the Living Quarters, half of it is empty)

Derek Parker Actually, the meaning of Jiva regards life in a more spiritual way than just being present. Xeno means foreign, which is tied to alien other synonyms. Anyway, Xeno'jiiva wouldn't be tied to the tale of creation or symbolize rebirth and creation if all it was capable of was ruin. Besides, all other Black Dragons are tainted by war; Xeno'jiiva was a new beginning.
