Freestyle reminded me a lot of World Finals 2018. Many breakages, many short runs, and a few good runs. Also, ending Bryce Kenny's run for a flat tire is downright bullshit. Bari broke a few other things with his wild ending, and as dumb as shutting him down was, it makes more sense than *just* a flat tire. FELD has the drive, the passion, and the money to make Monster Jam what it used to be, they just don't have the care.
They really do have something special here, when Zack Garner won racing that was truly special, but sadly those moments are too between, all the tools are there to make Monster Jam Great Again, they just refuse to use them, and it’s killing them, and this once great Motorsport.
To me I think that was the worst World Finals Freestyle I've ever saw. Because there is not a lot of Wow Factors, only 2 or 3 saves, everyone was breaking and rolling over every. Except for Tyler and Ryan. They both killed it in Freestyle.
2004 still holds the crown for the “worst” freestyle competition. This is probably 2nd. Doesn’t necessarily mean the drivers weren’t good, just that the track kept taking everyone out early
Last few trucks definitely saved the freestyle portion but yeah it was definitely a more disappointing freestyle. The rest of the show was absolutely incredible though
@@jason4663 there was a fair amount who had left. But it was basically all the normies who took off early. There was still a solid amount of people especially diehard fans left. But for a mass majority of the show other than the last few freestyles the place was absolutely packed and was super loud. Was a really fun energy
Nah. 19-3-2. Dalton, Jamie, and Tyler were the only ones who managed to fill the clock. Armando and David had transmission issues. Not necessarily the tracks fault there. But everybody else had their run ended early by the track in one way or another. The track was just too clustered
Overall this WF was pretty good. The LCQ competition, skills challenge, high jump, and racing were good. Freestyle was meh. Only 3 trucks managed to fill the clock. That track was a truck killer. So many potential good runs ended early by the track.
My honest opinion, officials shut the trucks off for little things, some drivers dont go hard enough in freestyle, and the track sucks. I thought the track would be a lot better this year for the WF but only racing was the interesting part. the track claims so many trucks in freestyle they have to figure it out.
If it wasn't for their god awful sponsorship for bkt tires, which are downright dogshit as they pop with the slightest touch, most of these runs would've went on. But no, they shut people off because of a flat tire. What a joke
Honestly I thought Skills was way better then last year, and I thought Racing was incredible, it’s sad it all combined with one of the worse Freestyle performances in WF history. It really hurt this years WF.
Yes I agree Tyler and Ryan threw down a heck of a freestyle show also Tyler doing a backflip on the jump ramp was cool Also I was there I was sitting right under the sofi sign
The track absolutely sucked. The backflips shoot them up too high, if they try to get big air they crash into another obstacle, and the track officials shutting off trucks for bs as usual
