@@MauiWowieOwie Yeah, that's honestly what I was thinking about as well. I feel like he would have a hard time fighting against the Lady's magic, especially in her own domain. But again, I feel like this one's just for good fun.

I remember seeing that Mono is the most powerful character, stated by the creators so its not to far fetched.

technically the first game did have one happy ending. Six does not only escape, but prevents the Maw from continuing operating. She kills the governess, takes her power, and kills all the customers. It just didn't work out so well for RK.

Couldn't you also argue that at the end of the first game, our lead character is trapped and seemingly victorious? I guess culturally we're more accustomed to seeing power and violence as a good thing; but still, I think it's interesting that Mono's fate seems bleaker than Six's." Did it?

@@МашаБородіна-д4в Six isn't necessarily trapped. When she first goes on the outside of the Maw you see the ship that the customers traveled on. iirc you don't see it in the final shot, but it doesn't mean it isn't there. Additionally we don't know the extent of the powers Six gained from the governess. The governess herself could teleport so it's safe to assume that Six would have this ability as well. Also in the end of the second game we see that Six is teleported to the Maw through the tv and Mono isn't with her and hasn't become the thin man yet, so there's some way that she was teleported which is an additional option for her full escape. Mono's fate is far worse because he is just trapped with no recourse except becoming the thin man, the thing he had feared and had been chasing him and his friend throughout the city. He spent the entire game freeing, rescuing, and helping Six his companion and friend to get through the city together. At the very end he risks his life to break the curse put on Six and succeeds. As they are fleeing and Mono's fate is left in Six's hand she betrays him and drops him. She either thought or knew he would become the Thin Man and she was right, but it was because she had dropped him was what caused him to become him. Mono's fate was to become a monster that was caused by the betrayal of someone he cared about that he thought was his friend. Had Six not betrayed him they both objectively would have had better endings and would have made this video actually possible.

@@MauiWowieOwie yeah, we can fantasize a lot about it. And I mean A LOT. I agree that Mono's fate is worse than Six's, even because of the betrayal alone (though Six might feel betrayed as well). But honestly, Mono also has powers, yet he doesn't teleport anywhere. If that's the Tower that's not letting him, might be the same case with Six, that she's simply forced to be left at the Maw. And if he just gave up...poor boy. Teleportation...we don't know how it works and if the Lady was even able to teleport at the big distances. TVs...she only got out by herself, but we don't have any clue to whether she can enter. The boat is a nice option, though, if it's still there, of course. I also choose to believe she's trapped, both because of the interview I quoted (I mean, who am I to argue with David Mervik, huh?), and even more, because I like this version better. There's just something about it being so gloom and hopeless...I don't know, I kinda like feeling bad for the characters? I know it sounds strange, sorry. It's just that it's supposed to represent the real world and our society that bugs me off so much.
