Monster Pike Fishing - 28lb River Beast 

I’ve only caught one 30 pounder at 30 pounds 9oz and 112cm, winter time pike on a deadbait. My mum made me a canvas print of that catch photo which now hangs on my wall as an unforgetable memory!

Watching from Spain. Second year livin in Spain. Moved from Holland. Where I lived in Holland the (big) pike were only 5 minutes from home. Here a totally different story. Too bad. Watching each of your vids each morning compensates the missing a bit though. And you sure keep us hanging "just in the scissors " . 👊🏽😁🎣... C u t'morrow

That 28.5 pike was beautiful!!! That is the same as my pb on the Thames I too am trying for that 30 it's been ongoing now for 20 years still no 30 but I've had 2 tope 35 and 40 lb and 600 lb blue Marlin in Grand canaria but pike seem to be few and hard to catch that 30 ahhh love how you ended that video leaving us hanging for more !!!! What an awesome fish. Im a Pike fishing virgin really My first ever pike was only about 8lb but it kept me smileing for dsys. I was so pleased to caught my first. I've fished fresh water course fishing most my life and a bit of sea fishing but i tried my hand at pike fishing last month. Im lucky as theres a small run off stream packed with rudd. You can catch loads in no time So i did some live baiting. The takes are hard and fast.

A pal and myself fished the river the last two days of the season but we were after Bream and Tench, we did drive past you on the Wednesday, just wondering if you spotted any Bream or Tench during your session on the river, or any otters come to that as we fished the same area as you in the summer and there were definitely some otters around.
