It's wierd and I can't beleive my brain called back to this, but it looks like one of the Muscle cars in that old racer, Split/Second Velocity, the Ryback Brawler lol
Not as tough as it looks. I'm so disappointed. Bought a Punisher a few weeks ago and managed to take it for a first run today at the local park. After a couple of minutes on the flat I thought I would give it a test and ran over a molehill...which snapped the circular ball clip on the top rear suspension arm, the wheel came loose and flicked the driveshaft into the nearby hedge, lost forever. Have ordered spares but this is a real worry and I haven't even started bashing it.
Lol I ordered the radix6 the minute I saw it, gonna do the same with this! They are one of those rcs the second you see it you know you're buying it lol
I ordered the Muraco from Corally, love the look of this truggy. This is a Belgian product and it makes me proud to be a Belgian, proud that they make RC products from the best quality in my country! I love the channel!
This Rig looks Sikkkkk.... Team Corally absolutely Nailed it! Great breakdown and appreciate you trying to get out there and Bash a bit to entertain us! Team Corrally making moves! This is my favorite of the 2021 line❤️❤️😍😎👍
JayTee RC has a few Corally RC cars reviews and they look very cool. Have been interested in these and happy you have this review to get an up close and personal look. Very cool looking indeed
O ya I love the look of this truck wow. Something about it just looks like it ready to handle some serious abuse. I may have to get myself into one of these soon!
@fernando ronaldo T2T brace is unnecessary. If the chassis and braces are done right. Have 3 v3 arrmas no T2T straight as an arrow. And if T2T brace was so substantial why are people buying justbashit & M2c chassis
@@TheWeedtarded it’s because they aren’t. And Arrma fan boys like to talk out their arse. And I’ve got a few arrmas great rc but not the only tough rig out there
Thanks! It was a tough one to video. The temps were in the 20’s and with the wind off the water it was even colder. I could barely wheel it I was so cold lol
I guess we were spoiled last year. There wasn’t much snow and it didn’t stick around. But it’s sticking around this year and really messing up RC time! LOL
The best looking 1/8 by far! And it's very interesting to see how well tuned it is, and also nice to see the cap pack installed from factory. ATB /Per FB: team Corally bashers
@@RUZTY1311 It helps make sure there is no power dips when the power travels from the lipo to the rest of the truck. I believe that's what it's for. Just helps when you have that 6s power and that it gets delivered properly/evenly. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong lol
Team Corally has a great price point, I think the wife will let me get a Kronos V2. Traxxas makes since, but TC just looks too cool inside and out, good vid keep up the good work.
Great video. I am considering adding this to the stable. I originally was looking at the Arrma Kraton , but this one came across my radar. Could anyone advise as to which of the 2 may be the better buy?
although you commented a year ago and probably already decided, I think we cant even compare Arrma Kraton with this, since the Kraton is waaaaay more expensive and probably they're on par. The Punisher also comes with a 25kg servo instead of the 18kg on the Kraton. On the Kraton also the S65x range are rather poor servos. Usually Arrma puts in undertorqued servos into their bashers, there are tons of comments around the internet about that
@Magyar-Hunor Tamas Hello. I did end up buying the Kraton and loved it. The servo was an issue right away. I left it as is. I ended up getting rid of my entire collection and left the hobby unfortunately.
@MOTIVATED LIVING ah that's sad. In have an Arrma Vorteks myself as a first daddy basher, I know the servo is crap (7kg only). I might change that before I break it. But then I felt in love with the Punisher so I might give that a go in a couple of months. One thing is extremely hard here in London, UK is to find a good place to bash. with such big 1/8-1/10 cars is close to impossible. I cant just use empty streets cuz the car is so fast I ll just keep smashing them into cars/curb etc.
@Magyar-Hunor Tamas I do miss it. I think my favorite I had were the Typhon 3S and 6S. They were a blast. If I get back into the hobby, I will definitely consider the Punisher.
Dodge Challenger converted to an offroad truck? LOL. Love it! Im torn between this (and Kronos), the Dementor/Jambo, and the Shogun/Muraco truggies. Great video!
Looks like a bashing buddy for my EXB interesting just so everyone is aware the team corally gear is based on a racing heritage similar to other brands yet it looks like this basher could hit the track with some pin and dish set ups and most definitely a wider wing. I'm actually interested in a angry style truggy, losi use to make the baddest muggy on the planet then it morphed into whatever it is now but the losi lst thing is a full on race dog with a winning heritage. And back in the day tc pumped out some winners. Hmmmm my choices are many excellent post
Great Vid again ! Thanks for them ! I really think this punisher is awesome ! Never had a Team corally or a Arrma RC. I will buy one of those in a short time. Can i ask you what would be your decision between the kraton V5 6s or this punisher? Will you give us another cool depth review of the punisher ? Thanks again and keep those videos coming !
I ran mine for 10 min on 6s and the esc burned up, almost cought fire, and it's really heavy, but very fast, standing backflips all day on punch 3 haven't even put it on punch 5
If you're in the u.s. hrp does their distribution. So if you don't mind ordering online its not a problem. Rc hobby explosion carries a ton of their parts and hop ups
Clone is too harsh. In the same category, same idea, yes definately. Clone means 100% copy with interchangeable parts. Like the Kraton is a clone of the MUGEN MBX6T.
Interesting rigs Corally is pushing out, my LHS won't get these from what I've heard they are basically a knockoff Arrma. I mean they literally look like my Kraton 6 to a point but then again guess everything is a copy of something else in some way...not hating here just my opinion. I would still buy one if my hobby shop gets any but its Corky's 4 Ever for this Newb! If he can't get it I don't need it! Thanks for sharing Greg! They sure do have a load of power, might even have a better servo..
@@brutallyaverage8293 hehe yea. i guess they have some sort of custom automated search algorithm. something like - IF (new RC post) ANDNOT (arrma) THEN do post (random blah...arrma...blah...knockoff)
Dear Team Corally, Im a avid #RC enthusiast. Ive spent over 20k on rc products in the last year. I pretty much own every single Arrma RC offering. Im looking at your company and im entertaining the idea of starting a Corally collection. Whats holding me back? Well Arrma is of course. I have feedback that may or may not be valuable to you. First I like (and beginning to love) my Arrma collection because all are cross compatible in terms of parts. Which gives a nearly endless possibility in building a true custom one of a kind rc. I reference my creation i like to call “omfg typhon” dual motor (x2 stock 8s arrma motor and esc) on the 8s kreaton chassis and suspension ridding low on the wide deboots rear felony tires with “stretch” style typhon body. That rc car definitely gets the “omfg is that a typhon?” Question every time i take the rig on a rc race way or rc basher park. Hence the name “OMFG Typhon” Secondly. The arrma price points are actually pretty good. When i look for a new rc I always find myself looking ar arrma well because they offer products that are not cheap but built with enough quality and durability for me to say “yeah lets go with the arrma” This is the true reason ive ended up with the entire arrma catalog. From the voltage to the limitless and of course their 8s offerings. If i was to make a request. I would love to see a kreaton/notorious killer. Because the xmaxx (i own 4 of them one for each member of the family simply because the xmaxx is by far the cheapest one to maintain bashing) is in its own field. I love the aarma 8s series because they give me that “i feel like a child again” with enough power to be reminded that i am an adult who needs to be careful when Operating the Rc. Last feed back is one word standing back flip. I know thats 3 words but it should be one because once my notorious did a standing back flip on 8s out of the box its safe to say i became a Arrma fan boy. I really hope my feedback finds its way to team Corally. Because with my career about to take off. Im looking x3-x4 my budget for next years RC shenanigan. Im looking at revisiting kyosho since they were my first rc experience as a child. Im in the process of building a 1/5 scale tarmac race track based on a local race track Laguna Seca. They are pouring the concrete as i type this. Good luck team corally. I hope you tighten up your push so that consumers like my self may see you as a real substitute for the current dominance of arrma. Fyi side note i do own every traxxas rc car too. Lol traxxas again i feel is in its own field because the way they engineered their rc is very unique. Cheers
I need your advice. I want to buy a new RTR RC. Which would be the better buy. The AXI03003T1 Axial SCX10 III Jeep JLU Wrangler RTR Ready To Run 4WD Rock Crawler or the Gen8 Axe. I can't decide. They are both priced the same. Which one gives me more bang for my buck. Really love your channel. I purchased the orange Gen8 based on your reveiw. Please let me know. Thanks 😊
I'm new to RC. Can someone please explain the difference between the Shogun, Muraco and Punisher? To a newbie they look identical to me (apart from the polycarbonate plastic body). I want an RC truggy that's really fast, fun and really strong that can handle accidental crashes. Thanks for your help.
One thing that I think is silly with this car is that it doesnt come with a wheelie bar. otherwise this might be one of best value for your buck in the 1/10-1/8 range. this thing seems insane
From everything I've seen chassis no more than a stock kraton. I think only rear center dog bone bends from chassis flex. They do offer a 7075 chassis and braces.
Ok the springs and shocks are horrible on this truggy. I ended up replacing them because the vehicle bottoms out when you lighly press down on the chassis.
The body set up looks very kraton-like. I jave hopes for corally but the early European releases had many issues, plastics in general, but it seems improvements are being made. I will say the punisher body is there best effort so far, most corally bodies are really ugly. But if you're going to skimp the body is where to do it. Many people replace bodies before the first run. It all about chassis and suspension. Of coarse gear metal is critical as well.
TC is greating pretty good. For the 6S line ARRMA is much better. especially in electronics for the same price go with a Kraton V5 or a Outcast. TC is kinda copying ARRMA as well.
The radio might be better but motor and ESC are OEM Hobbywing so quite the same quality if not better. Also copying... well the Kraton is a 100% clone of the MUGEN MBX6T. Everyone in the industry is copying everyone.
@@sharkey9 yeah that's true on the copying. Far as ESC ok yeah hobby wing is great. Your right on that better then the arrmas new spectrum electronics. The BLX ESC and motor are the same has the HW. All made in same factory in China. If you get a arrma you always need to get a new servo since they always sucks. ,👊👍
You mean the Arrma Kraton? The car that was just blueprinted from the MUGEN MBX6T? Parts are even interchangeable. Everything is the same, arms, diff setup, gearing, all... So much for knockoffs.
Don't understand and also dont like thing that all RCs that have 'pick up style' body shell or so, big diameter wheels (for its scale) BUT with low ground clearance (lower arms almost parallel to the chassis), called "Monster truck" xD For me tamiya bullhead, clodbuster, stampede rwd, lunch box - this is real monster trucks;)) Others are "Truggy" maximum (very flat monster trucks xD))))
It's the same price as the armma vehicles. Corally just copied off arrmas designs it's looks 99% arrma under the body. Might as well go with the real innovators and not the copy cat corally since they are the same price anyways.
Im sure theres going to be a number of Team Corally fans out there , ok the reviews always seem to be positive but RC enthusiasts there is no uniqueness to their trucks , buggies , truggies they look like Arrma knock offs . Wheres the individuality , come up with a different design , something different i would think its pretty safe to assume different is going to sell better then what looks more like a Chinese knock off . Its my opinion and we are all entitled to one but i think RC hobbiest are looking for something new yes different . We can make them faster , stronger and more durable, we can upgrade our cars until the end of time but what we need help with is making them different . Team Corally nice work , congratulations , but come on come up with your own design .Dont come for me this is just my opinion .
@@philthyco1 Well said my friend , you just made me look at the brand from someone elses point of view . I must admit you certainly have a arguable point .Perhaps thats one of the beauties behind this hobby , the ability to have a different opinion which may lead to a different of opinion and maybe just maybe another RC added to the collection . Mind if i blame you if the wife happens to notice the odd ball in the collection . As much as she claims she despises the hobby she tends to keep tabs on what comes in and out of the house . Keep safe and i certainly appreciate your few but convincing words .
