Dane is a sportsman he didn't hide the spots he fished from the fighting island to the mouth of the river. He thru back any fish over 21 inches that makes him a real sportsman and a good example of what everybody should be doing in the river and the lakes of our state for more eaters for all.!

Awesome day of walleye jigging. Love that bite. You sure can tell a few of the boys are using the wrong-handed reels. One with a left-handed baitcast and the other with a right-handed spincast reel. Herky jerky, but they still get them in the boat and that's what counts. The season is upon us again!

Awesome video, I see u fishing different spots in smaller boat. I have a 14 ft with some mods like yours. Going to attempt to come up and fish the river for the 1st time , can u give me some pointers on where to launch and when's the best time to come up to give it a try. I'm about 2 hrs away and don't know anyone to trust to tell me when the bites on. Thanks

DANE- im from north western pa and we do a lot of walleye fishing this way, but im arranging a group of 3 boats and six guys to come to Detroit river next april for 4 days, were all pretty expierenced walleye guys but I have a few questions, are there launches everywhere or is there just a few? are there cabins for rent or just hotels, where do we start, ive watched a lot of videos and looks like boat are everywhere, any info you can dispose would be great, great video by the way. also does the water ever get real choppy? we all have 16ft boats with anywhere from 40hp to 60hp will the boats be adequate for the river?

I'm only ten and when I went ice fishing with my dad when I was 5 I caught my first fish i was on my line and jumped up through my hole it was 34 inches idk how much it wheighed

In a normal weather year Is late March or early April a better time to try for a 10lb plus eye on the Detroit?

Fishing the Canadian side is cheating lol. Try fishing the US side and see if you get monsters like that all day long.

Its estimated that over 40 million walleye live in western lake erie alone, throwing back big walleyes here is pointless.
