Monster Trout In Hopedale This Early? Catch & Cook (not the big trout)

It was a hard thing for me to go anywhere but where I've been catching the fire out of the Speckled Trout lately, but I had a chance to bring my best fishing buddy and we decided to play it safe and hang close to the marina in Hopedale. My expectations were just to have fun hanging with Destin the Destroyer and maybe catch a few fish, but we had a some unexpected bites that made the trip before the storms ran us off. I don't normally catch trout this big in this area this time of year.

I fish artificial lures and mostly in the marshes and lakes on the east side of the Mississippi River in South Louisiana for Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Largemouth Bass.
