This is the most underrated attraction at Magic Kingdom. Everyone should have a chance to visit the laughter floor. If you have the chance, it's completely worth it!
I remember this. When I went, My mom was on her phone looking at fast pass stuff. After it started, my mom Was on the screen and Mike said "Oh look, this woman is already looking at her FaceBook page!"
This reminds me of when me and my dad got into the Star Tour ride. When they showed the photo of my dad they said: '' The spy is the one with the primate on his head''. It was because my dad was wearing a cap with a picture of a monkey.
I remember when I was 5 years old (I’m 17 now) I went to the laugh floor with my mom. I was dressed up as Ariel from the boutique so they chose me to put on the screen. Only problem was I was extremely shy so I ran away as fast as I could while everyone went “aww” in the background.
I remember the time my grandpa was "that guy." It was really funny because he's usually quite humorous even though he always has that "I'm done" face. The sad thing was his hearing had gotten pretty bad by that time so he didn't even realize what was going on.
I haven't been to Disney World in like 4 years, but my parents might be taking me over the summer this year. But that second act had me rolling on the floor laughing my head off, especially the look on Buddy's face at 11:40 killed me XD.
The attraction says you won’t get scared, I got super scared when they put the camera thing on me and ever since that day hated the attraction. True story
I was addicted to Stitch and was decked out in it when I went to the scare floor. Afer a joke the guy said, "Man that joke had us all in stitches!" Then pointed the camera at me and said "Especially that girl" IT WAS SO FUNNY!!
My guess is the main characters like Mike are pre recorded by the original actors. Then for the “acts” they have generic monsters not from the movies so any comedian can voice them. To save money they probably just hire two comedians per show that play all the generic characters. Then they have a bunch of cameras pointed at various audience members so they can use them for all the gags
I loved this place. I remember a guest that spoke during the "1-50" section. I remember the speaker's daughter kept on saying 'No'. I will always remember that.
I saw this on my trip last February. The guy they picked for That Guy really played his part well and made some of the best facial expressions. That was a lot of fun.
"Aren't you a little frustrated--that um, your brother kinda, stole the show earlier, when he busted out those sweet dance moves--" *[Camera switches back and forth between the two]* To anyone who thinks this attraction won't make them laugh... Man, I was almost crying laughing at that.
When me, my mom, and older brother, Takoda went to see this when I was 8, Takoda was chosen by Marty and told a joke that he already knew. It was, “Why was 6 afraid of 7?” “Because 7 8 9!” 😂
Beautifulbat You should! It's a guaranteed great time. It's underrated, so the line isn't especially long. I hope that you get the chance soon and that you have a great time. My marching band is going this April, so I'm excited to introduce my friends to my this awesome tradition!
When we went, Mike’s nephew would insult people in the audience, like some women had bags on that looked like cat seats, and the monster shouted “Who wants to buy a portable seatbelt!” And another one was “Hey, we have a sale! Buy two t-shirts, get a thousand free!” And it cut to about 20 people wearing the same outfit 😂
I wish I could join in soon cause everyone knows that I loved “Monsters Inc.” the laugh floor is amazing and hopefully I’ll get picked by Marty Wazowski because I’m a comedian
I lost it a month ago when I went to the Laugh Floor and my sister said my laughter was obnoxious. The Laugh Floor's supposed to be funny and you're supposed to be laughing
I was Marty's Comedy partner way back before the monsters university stuff was put in! I remember that moment to this day! I'm going back in June so I'm hoping I can get on!
I remember my dad was shown on the camera, but he was on his phone the entire time and didn't even notice so it was just an extremely awkward situation for Everyone in the audience
Mike hosts this show alone. He pretends to be an announcer before being the host. He's a lone show person who invites special guests. Mr. Sullivan would be introducing Mike so Mike wouldn't have to do it himself. If Mike wouldn't host this show alone, there might be one other host named Celia.
