Imagine a joke in the Hotel Transylvania franchise and Monsters Vs. Aliens franchise movie where B.O.B. tries to flirt with Blobby but forgets due to his absence of a brain and stupidity that Blobby can’t be in love with him unless he is gay since he is already male and reproduces asexually.
"She's lime green, she has 14 little chunks of pineapple in her..." I just love that Bob is dedicated to his literal Jello of a girlfriend to the point where he remembers the specific details 😂
“No way, it’s a boy! Look at his boobies.” That part had me dying and also after Susan said “We have to get these people OFF the bridge” B.O.B.’s got it and HE MEAN IT!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
This is the power of acting in animated films. You can be a praying mantis, a warthog, a pile of slime, and even donkey Kong all at the same time. edit: and apparently a mutant warthog too
I like the part where it looks like Bob was being hypnotized by the Alien Robot like Insectosaurus but it turns out that he was just watching some seagulls nearby, as he can’t be brainwashed or hypnotized due to having no brain,I am guessing he never saw them before or admires then just for having no brain.
"Derek, you are a selfish jerk, and guess what? I've met someone else. She's lime green, she has 14 little chunks of pineapple inside of her, and she is everything I deserve in life! I'm happy now, Derek. Without you! It's over!" That's how you make a break-up a lot better.
I dont remember much from this movie, but "gentlemen, i may mot have a brain, but i have an idea" has been routinely popping into my head for the past 10 or so years.
I love how Bob acts because he always makes me think about the robot and if Bob was about the same same size as it Bob could take that robot in heartbeat they both have 1 eye
Whenever I hear Seth Rogan use this voice for other characters in movies, I can't help but picture bob in that character's place saying the exact same thing.
One of my favorite movie scenes is when the monsters think they are doomed and poor Bob doesn't have a clue. So they are like "Tomorrow we will have candy and ice cream." I think it is one of the sweetest moments.
On low volume, that's exactly what I heard. I turned it up to be sure, and it actually _was_ "thanks doc" Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they noticed that and just left it in.
0:49 “Might we ask your name, madam?” “Susan.” “No, no, no, we mean- we mean like your monster name, like, what do people scream when they see you coming, y'know, like ‘LOOK OUT!!! HERE COMES-’” *“Susan.”*
This was an adult cartoon. I mean nothing explicit, but the jokes and humor vibed more with adults more so than children. There's still the odd slapstick to entertain kids, but the dialog and story is more mature. Like why Galaxar wanted to destroy Earth, kids don't get the nihilism of "just because". And this has been a trend of great Dreamworks animation that staled over during premier and mostly bombed at the box office, while retaining great recognition among adult viewers on RU-vid and social media years after the movie had left theaters. Megamind is another example of a great animated movie, that bombed at the box office, yet has a great following to this day particularly by adults appreciating the mature humor. Telling kids that there was no Queen of England isn't funny to them, it's heartbreaking. They need to learn that for themselves. For all that, it's sad that continuation of stuff like this and Megamind gets passed over because Dreamworks failed to properly market a movie to the proper audience.
And yet The Last Wish did amazing. Not a big example of a kid like movie with more mature humor, but it does have some things that u wouldn't see in a kids movie(like blood, and Puss in Boots sayin the word hell). Still wish movies did this more tho
I’m not surprised that adults would like Monsters vs Aliens more than kids would, especially kids nowadays. While Galaxhar may not be real, but there is some people that kinda have that Galaxhar mentality. Proverbs 2:14 comes to mind. Nice to see that Monsters vs Aliens has a cult following, along with Megamind. I wouldn’t mind seeing Monsters vs Aliens getting similar attention to Shrek and Bee Movie when it comes to memes.
4:55 “B.O.B who else could fall from unimaginable heights and end up without a single scratch?” And let’s not forget has the GREATEST Laugh out of all of us! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
